"A long time ago we were fenced in. Gates closed behind us as we entered this round pieces of land. Land should be never ending. Not here. The fences stood above our heads. Chains, not wood. They put rope around our faces. Tied it on tight so we couldn't run away. They tought us to walk in a straight line. To jump with perfect strides. They tought us things we didn't need to know. Things we didn't want to know.
Until we escaped.
The king led us out.
He kicked down the gates and crashed through the fences. I can still remember the look in his eye as he completely went insane. They got to him first. Shot him and he was down. Not dead. But out. We ran, not looking back. I can still see his muscles ripple as his hooves beat the open air, fighting to stand and remain standing.
We ran forever. Through forests, mountains, swamps. We kept running even in our dreams. The fight would never end until we stumbled upon what seemed as a new world."
As a new generation I didn't exactly know the story until my elders told it to us. We listened so quietly. Wanting to hear every last detail down to the scent of the liquid that rolled off the great stallions body as he exerted energy. I wanted to picture it all in my head. The black coat of the king, shining in the morning sunlight. The images of my elders running through lands unknown.
Now?
Now we all live. Wild again. There are territories. Far appart from others. You never see horses from different territories anymore.
No one knows why.
Here in Nervanios there are 4 territories. In each territory there are herds led by leads. A pair of royals has full control over each territory. The territories are seperated by miles and miles of deserted, dangerous lands that no one seems keen on passing though. It is EXTREAMLY rare to meet horses from other territories in your own.
Some believe the territories are getting farther and farther appart. Why? Is there a plan to conquer? A plan that one of the territories is building up its strength to defeat the others?
