Jasper's paws bounced as he made his way up to Baisen Ridge. His twin harks were pricked, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. His nose twitched, picking up the scents that wafted to them. Blades and pelvis rolled easily with each step, paws hardly making a noise on the ground. He carefully made his way up the path. His blue merle fur swayed gently in the spring breeze. His blue eyes were locked a head of him, looking around . He was coming up here because he wanted some time to think.
The only female he'd met was Morphine. He hadn't met many others. He let out a sigh and kept walking.
Once he reached the top of the ridge, he planted his rump down and let his forelegs come around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. Both ears were pricked forward, listening to the waves gently crashing against the jagged rocks below. He could feel the mist spraying up onto his coat. Jasper inhaled deeply, enjoying the brine scent from the ocean below. Jasper felt a tingle run up his spine, but it was a good kind of shiver. The sky was cloudy , a storm cloud threatening in the horizon. It was probably time for a storm anyway. He sighed once again and lowered his belly to the ground, forelegs stretching out before him. He lowered his head, letting his muzzle rest between his forepaws. He kept his gaze locked out onto the horizon of the ocean. Jasper watched the waves gently rolling, the froth tumbling from one wave to the next. The sun was trying to peer out from behind some clouds, but it wasn't having much luck. He waited to see who would meet him.
Jasper was hoping to eventually find a mate at some point, but he wasn't going to rush into things. He liked to take his time with things like that. He kept his ears alert , waiting to see. [/color]

! c h a k r a "good bye, chakra." her mothers voice seemed to echo in her ears. "mother.. NO!" the border collie pup screamed. the black and white female, presumably her mother, turned her lithe head sadly. chakra leapt forward and tried to grab her mothers tail. being too late, the puppy watched as her mother stepped slowly over the red cliff edge. chakra stepped forward, and saw her mothers tired body twist and flip over the edge. "no.." she whimpered quietly, and curled into a ball. it was all just a dream. wasn't it?
tears dripped from my eyes as i slowly climbed to the top of the ridge. memories. pains. aches. hate. love. life. death. they were all related to me. the memories of my loving parents had caused me to have pain, aches, life, and soon death. i had this plan all set in my mind. shaking my red and white head, i slowly surged my young body forward. i'd do what my mother did. suicide. i would end this all. see? all related. they caused me those things, and now, my death. it was simple enough for me. i had barely met anyone in this life, and i knew now that my father would probably never return. the sun was finally passing through the clouds. it was almost the same weather as the day my mother died, slightly sunny and cloudy, but looking as if its going to rain. i picked my head up as i reached the top of the ridge. trotting to the edge, i didn't care who or what was watching. i closed my eyes, and stopped, my body teetering over the edge. my mind contradicted itself, and i couldn't decide. was i ready to die?
