Sky When I come through on the dance floor checkin' out that catalog Can't believe my eyes, so many women without a flaw And I ain't gon' give it up, steady tryin' to pick it up like a car I'ma hit it, I'ma hit it and flex and do it until tomorr' yeah
Large paws pushed him powerfully across the turf, the earth, already churned, gave way underneath his finely-toned torso as he sprinted across the open landscape. The sky was too bright, the darkness creaping like death into the horrizon, ready to engulf the sun as it began to make it's blazing desent to the underworld. The husky slowed, steading himself as he reached a large settling of dusty buildings, cracked and worn bricks that cried out for help.
There was no emotion on his visage as the animal stood to take in his new surroundings, nothing but prehaps, a hint of boredom in his hazel optics. He was a terribly handsome soul, devilish even in the way that he was blessed with such a beautiful being, yet his looks were desieving. Inside that handsome face, was a mind so harsh, so incredibly cold-hearted, that it was no wonder why he did not love, whether it were for man, beast or landscape, any beauty was wasted on this being. No, it were not that he was selfish or truly evil, more that the world bored him, everything, from buildings to canines to death to life in general, everything was boring. Maybe it was the way he was brought up, to be mature in life, yet this canine took maturity to a new level. Everything was boring.
The stag sighed as he entered the farm house, intent on resting for the night and continuing his wanderings tomorrow. Where was he going? What was he doing? Nothing, just traveling. A waste, many would think, of a life, and yet, it was what he did, leaving nothing behind him, with nothing in front of him. Oh such a terrible life people told him, yet they were wrong, there was nobody to distract you, nobody to annoy you, threaten you, whatever, there was just nothing. The canine lept up into a chair, the only one still standing in the first room he padded into. The carpet was torn up, but had once been comfy, the chairs were turned over, stuffing dragged out and tossed about by some wild beast, wooden tables and such lay in piles, most missing chunks from their legs and main surfaces. Oh, such a terrible mess. But this canine did notb think, did not care, as he curled up into his fur, and allowed his optics to rest.
Status:: finnished notes:: none-just that, we could always open the thread to others later, when they prehaps get to know each other a little more. Muse:: avergae-high for Sky. I have been struggling with posts for this lil' guy, until now! [/blockquote][/blockquote] [/blockquote]

Redemption If only night can hold you where i can see you, my love Then let me never ever wake again And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away We'll be lost before the dawn A pair a deep brown optics flickered from side to side, rising and falling in time with the gentle, smooth rhythm of their owner. The female saluki moving across the land that lay coated in twilight with a gentle gait, a casual gallop but still quite fast for a dog. Although not too tiring for the female as her breed was built for speed. The creatures thin, slender figure moved in such a smooth way, one could be reminded of waves rolling towards the beach. Her furry auds flapping in time with her movements, salmon coloured tongue lolling out slighty, panting as the female raced over the land. Each step made a new wave of light shimmer over her ebony and silver coat like a breeze across a field, sending waves over the grass. The saluki was at ease, she was alone and really quite comfortable at this time. Yet, inside, her loving heart ached for some company. For so long she had been lonely and being a loner hardly helped her situation.
After a few more minutes of travelling, Redemption noticed an old farm looming in the distance. Surrounded by a large field lay a barn and the old farm house. While the barn stood fairly strong, the house looked a complete mess. Derelict and worn, nothing could be living there. A small sigh escaped her maw as she ran effortlessly but she continued to head in that direction. Who knew? Maybe she would meet someone there by a complete miracle. Quickening her sprint, Ree had soon reached the edge of the large field. Dark brown optics spotting a hole in the hedge, she ducked her head and bounded through it before continuing her race across the land.
So soon she had entered the farmyard, and slowed her gait down to a slow trot. Turning her head to the side as she passed, her optics came to rest on the barn that stood so threateningly over her. Skitting across the dusty earth a little, she turned her head back to face the house as she hopped up the wooden porch in the dimming light, a scent caught her nose. Quite stale it was, clearly an hour or so old. A shiver of excitement ran through her elegant body as she crept into the house. Finally some company? Oh how this beautiful, kind hearted female longed for someone to talk to. As she entered the room, optics flickering over the mass of filthy, rotten furniture in the room, it took her a few moments to notice the ball of fur that lay curled on the only half-decent chair. Clearly asleep, and a male by the scent. Damn. The word fluttered across her mind as she stood in the doorway, the beautiful blues and purples of the early night sky filtering through after her, almost silhouetting the creature as she stood in a strong stance. How was she supposed to wake him without causing him to attack her. Several ideas ran through her head before she finally settled on letting him wake her. Could she trust him not to kill her while she slept? Ree was so desperate for company that she was willing to take this risk. And so she padded over to one of the overturned chairs, head low and nudged it several times with her nose. She watched it roll onto one side with a soft thud, sending thousands of dust particles up into the air. With a small shrug she hopped onto the chair that now lay on its side and curled up ontop. Closing her deep optics, she felt sleep slowly engulf her tired body.

Audits caught the sounds of approaching paws, but it was a while before his sharp mind could push through the thick fog of sleep that had desended over the tired creature. Finnally, his bright optics blinked open and he uncurled his frame, fore limbs stretched out on the cramped chair, toned muscles snapping back into place, more flexible now they had been stretched again, and he stood up on the chair, cushions lumpy under his paws. He padded the chair, glancing about with dull interest. He could not see anything out of place, yet he were sure he'd heard paws. Suddenly, a flash of colour, out of place, caught his optics, and Sky's crania snapped round. There, on the suddenly upright chair that faced his own bed, was an unknown canine.
This other was obviously a female, for her limbs were so tender, so gentle, and her figure was slim and slender. Any other animal would have been surpassed by her beauty, that soft, lucious coat, and yet, this stag did not bother to do more than glance. Femme's beauty was wasted on himself, he were not worth it. He sighed, he did not want to hurt her, not because he was 'soft' but more that he just could'nt be bothered. Sky thought about moving on to a different place, yet he liked thi place, he'd desided before sleeping that he would rest here a few days, and prehaps even claim it. Sighing again, Sky frowned, he had to act hard if he wanted her to leave. He jumped lightly onto the chair by her and growled low in her audit, sure that she would hear it, he ept a defensive stance, and his optics hardened to ice. It was a ferocious look, and he was sure it would shock her. Smirking lightly, he was also certain her veauty would not effect him either.
" You'd better wake up and get out before i hurt you, my dear. " The indearment was natureal, but menacing, and he smirked down on the femme, awaiting her to move.

Redemption If only night can hold you where i can see you, my love Then let me never ever wake again And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away We'll be lost before the dawn Darkness surrounded the female as she slept in her dreamless slumber. Unaware of anything, never to remember the length of the night, no dreams to tug at her memory everytime something reminded her of it. A simple shattered sleep she lay in. Until a loud growl appeared from nowhere. Within seconds she had awoken, having no idea why she had. Until her mind remembered the growl heard in her subconciousness. Lifting her head in shock, large deep brown optics flickering round the dark room as they slowly adjusted to the lack of light. After a few short moments, she noticed the growling male had moved from his previous chair to the torn one beside her. His eyes were truely terrifying, afterall she was a simple female and her breed was not known for strength. Only speed. Could she outrun him? Certainly. But if he caught her before she had a chance to run, she could be dead within a heartbeat. At these thoughts, her heart began pulsing faster and faster as she feared for her life. Mentally she scolded herself. Why did she have to be so desperate? Why didn't she just turn around and run while he was asleep. Now her life was at stake all because of her foolishness.
As Redemption stared in horror into his eyes, her fur stood on end as a natural instinct and her ears lowered. She was not challenging him, she was merely terrified. He was quite large, probably about the same height as her give or take a few inches, but his build was huge. He was clearly a muscular husky with alot of strength. Ree knew that despite her having the upper hand when it came to speed, she wouldn't be able to beat him in a fight. Hell she didn't even want to fight, it was completely against what she believed. With a cautious gulp, she opened her maw and let her soft voice flow from it.
"I-I'm sorry." Realising her stammer, she took a moment to take a quick breath and continued in a slightly stronger but still silky tone. "I had no idea you owned this place, I was simply heading in this direction and noticed the farm. I have been alone for quite some time and was only hopeful for some company." Eventually she shut her maw and lowered her head slightly to show he had more power than her. She felt that being five years old was far too young to die. She was tempted to offer her name, but doubted he cared for it. Yet, she didn't want to leave so soon. Pulling her eyes away from his and looking at the ground, she waited patiently for a response.

It was fine, all fine, he was so ready to give her a good fight, sink his claws into that tender flesh, and yet, he had no opted on her eyes. When she awoke, it was too late, he took one glance, and that was that. Holy crap, now he was in trouble. He had never thought of love before, it was a weakness, so he believed. But now, though he was sure he were not in love, no way, he could not help feeling some attraction toward the femme. His visage softened visibly, and his optics melted, yet he was still a littl hostile, for sure, nobody knew what abother was thinking.
" My appologise miss." He said, in an alluring, smooth voice. He did not know what else to say, but instead, he backed off a little, noting her voice was so soft and quiet, noting her stance was so small, so wary. He sighed, no, he couldn't hurt her. Instead, he jumped back onto his own chair and sighed again, oh, what to do now.
" This land is not mine, although, i believe i shall make it that. You may stay, for now. I could use the company also. So, what is your name, miss? " Sky cocked his head, hopefully, if he could learn more about the fea, he would stop liking her. Prehaps...

Redemption If only night can hold you where i can see you, my love Then let me never ever wake again And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away We'll be lost before the dawn Redemption could actually watch the male soften before her eyes, his stance loosened and his face became considerably warmer. Although he still held an air of hostility as he looked at her. Ree had no idea what he was thinking or even planning to do, she simply sat still as he apolgised and bounded back over to his previous chair. Turning her head to follow his movements, she watched his lower his rump to the material and sit down with a sigh. Naturally, Ree's auds perked at the sound. It caused her to wonder what he was thinking, and why had he sighed? The female held herself back, it was no business of hers to know.
She sat patiently as he spoke, a small warm smile forming on her lips as she nodded in response to his new words. He could use company just like her. The feeling was good as she realised that perhaps she was wanted here. For the time being. With another smile she parted her lips and replied.
"Thank you. My name is Redemption, or Ree if you can't be bothered with saying the whole thing. It's fairly long after all." She paused, her eyes wandering over the dim room. "May I ask yours?" During this time, Ree had pulled herself up to sit with her upper body erect as she faced the male. Leaning her head to one side, she continued to try and figure out this male.

Sky tilted his crania to catch the femme's words, they were like silver to him, so precious as they danced toward him, a melody in itself. Odd, before he would never have been able to apprechiate life, but suddenly, it was as if the world had been gripped by teeth and twisted round, however, it were stillt turning, still nto quite right. Oh, what was this all about? Sky frowned, optics darkened as he attempted to grip hold of his original personality through this sudden shifting of life, to hold on desperatly to who he was, to who he'd alwasy been. Sky had never had a problem with being stubborn, complex and dull, it suited his dark nature, although, he hated company, he revelled in seeing other's distress and torture, yet here he was, allowing a lone femme to stay, but she were a beautiful one at that. He suddenly remembered that he owed her an answer, and he politly offered his name.
" 'Tis simply Sky, Ree, nothing as so beautiful as yours. " and there he was, complimenting her, a first. He never offered compliments, only half sarcasms. This was all wrong! Sky wanted to howl, to rip out his heart and tear it to peices, throw it away to the deepest parts of hell, this was the problem, his heart, yet it ruled his emotions. He was being weak, allowing this sudden liking to grip him so, prehaps she were tricking him, prehaps joking. Sky's optics focused on her with burning intesnity, detirmed that, if he found out her game, his liking for her would go, and his old self would return. But untill then, he would have to enjure it.
He noticed nothing but relief on Redemptions face at first, Sky knew it were for that fact he had spared her life, and it gave him a clu as to her nature. She were a peace-maker, obviously no fighter, a coward, one that ran from a fight rather than turned and fought. Sky wished he could tear her limb from limb, but his heart refused that priveldge, because he hated nothing more than peace-lovers. Sky shook his crania, this mind game was tiring him, and he mentally poked himself, forcing him to return to the room, odd, he'd almost forgotten his surroundings and company. Now, he reaslied he was standing, strange, he did not remember jumping up, his fore paw was raised, as if he had been in the mid of pacing the lumpy upholstery. Sky paused imedietly, and placed himself in a sitting position once more, now intent on the femme and questioning her a little as to her past, her present, her future and therfore understanding her game, and hoefully going back to hating her again. If only it were that simple.
" Why all alone? " He asked, his voice had turned alluring and smooth, like dark vevelt. It was a voice that he reserved to drift others into a false sense of security and relaxation, one he usually reserved for before a fight, when his opponant was unawear of his dangerous nature, and deathly bloodlust, then he would pounce, and usually kill.
Status:: finnished notes:: aww, it's okay, it's actually not too bad. I've forced out some muse for this lil' guy, Ree deserves some. He can't make up his mind, poor guy, if he wants to like her or not. Muse:: high! Redemption If only night can hold you where i can see you, my love Then let me never ever wake again And maybe tonight, we'll fly so far away We'll be lost before the dawn Ree gazed into his eyes as he stated his name. Sky. Quite odd for his attitude, but still a lovely name. When he called her name beautiful, she had a fight back a quick blush. Never had any part of her been called beautiful, she was really not used to such compliments. Well, she couldn't actually remember if she'd ever been called pretty, beautiful or anything along those lines. She could remember little of her past, only the recent months of her life were living in her memories. Giving a small smile in return, Ree spoke softly. "It is quite beautiful Sky, you should be proud of it."
The room fell silent once more as they just sat staring at each other. The intensity of his gaze caused Redemption to fight back another blush and turn away to look about the room. She couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about her. She was a waste of space? Taking up his precious time? Weak? Pathetic? All the ideas were negative and she began to get a little nervous. Should she just run while she could and never look back? No, he would probably leap on her before she could get out the room and squash her with his poweful muscles. Of course Ree would try and fight with him, she hated to but would do so if she had too. But she knew it would be a fight she couldn't win, even using her speed to her advantage. Pushing the thoughts aside she realised he had spoken again. "Why all alone?" The question sent a shiver down her delicate spine. His voice was like velvet, smooth and beautiful but the words were cruel. Many times she had heard this question and knew it was one that the answer would decide their fate. Fighting back her fear, unwilling to let it reach her optics, Ree took a quick breath and replied. "Quite honestly Sky, I don't know. I remember nothing from the first four years of my life. All I remember is waking up from darkness one day, not knowing where or who I was until I somehow figured it out. But I have no memories from before whatever it was happened." She paused, being cautious about her choice of words. "And so for the past year of my life I have wandered alone, not knowing what I'm doing here." The want to cry suddenly fought it's way into her throat, causing an uncomfortable lump. How she wished she knew her family and life before the incident. If only she knew what had even happened to cause this terrible fate. Perhaps one day she would remember, but for now she knew nothing. Ignoring the lump, she swallowed and continued in a stronger voice. "What about you, Sky?" She added his name politely, still unsure of what his reaction to her history would be. A thick, furry tail moved from side to side across the chair material as she waited for a reply.
