Under the starry skies - where eagles have flown, This place is paradise - it's the place I call home, It's to here - I will always... always return.

Well, well. Looked like his brother had done well for himself. His own territory, own pack, and as he could smell quite a few females. One had caught his eye as he entered the territory. A white siberian husky wolf cross if he wasn't mistaken. She had thought she was hidden, and when she had spotted him he had seen something in her eyes. However it disappeared after a few seconds and Damien assumed she had thought he was his brother. It seemed like his brother was intriguing hearts. Damien had made a mental note to tease Lithium about the wolf hybrid when he saw him. After all, it had been a while since he had been able to tease his brother. Trotting past the large bus the big black husky made his way across the tarmac of the used car lot. He let his muscles ripple beneath his ebony pelt a smirk rising upon his lips as he noticed quite a few females swoon at the sight of him.
Damien was used to this and still thoroughly enjoyed it when it happened. He couldn't let his mind wander though. Who knows how Lithium would react to his return... It had been two years. Planting his rump upon the center of the used car lot he threw back his head and let out a loud eerie howl. Something his breed got from the wolves. Licking his lips Damien had no doubt the howl would probably bring others to investigate. Its what he wanted. After all a return with a huge crowd was always a lot better then one sole person. Plus Damien loved the attention. Infact he thrived on it. The sunlight flooded over his pitch black coat, highlighting the white underbelly and leg markings which also made his brown eyes stand out as if they were crimson red. His eyes were always what made him stand out whether he was intending to terrify or not. It was the colour of his eyes that let others indentify that he was not indeed Lithium. Otherwise they were pretty much alike.

It was a nice day; but then, any day that you live through is a nice day, and so far, I wasn't dead. I was in the car lot, with many other pack members, laying an top of a car hood. I was sprawled onto my side, letting the sun soak into my white, spotted fur. I wished I knew what white was, or what spots looked like. As it is, I know nothing of what the world looks like; I just know what it feels like, and how it smells. I sigh, and blink slowly. Life's never fair, but sometimes I wish it hadn't dealt me such a bad hand. It's not like I did anything to deserve it, and I would have been better off mute; I've never liked talking to anyone. But if I had been mute, I probably would also have a chatterbox nature. Yawning, I thumped my tail; a habit I had when I wanted to change the direction of my thoughts. That's when I heard the giggles and sighs. Baring my teeth in a somewhat condescending grin, I realized that Lithium must have waltzed into the lot; he was the only dog I knew of that could make that many bitches swoon at once.
Not me, of course; his charms were clearly visual, as his personality did nothing to flutter my heart. Don't take that wrongly, mind you; he was a perfectly decent canine; fair, courteous, and clever. But he wasn't very extraordinary, in my humble opinion. Nothing to swoon over. I wondered if he knew he had no power over me, and then decided that it didn't matter; he would likely treat me just the same as all the other females, one way or another. I rolled onto my belly and sat up, turning my head in the direction the croons were aimed; I took a whiff of the air, intending to make certain I knew his location before calling a greeting to him. But Lithium was not who I smelled. My gut twisted as my nares inhaled the alien scent of a loner, and I growled quietly, shifting nervously. These females around me made no comment to suggest that they didn't know the male, so I could only assume he was a new member I hadn't yet met, or he resembled a pack member. Lithium, no doubt, or why would these pinheads gush like this?
Jumping off my hot car, I made my way towards him, my head low, as if I was hunting. Truth be told, I kept it low to keep my face safe from low hanging branches and the like; I'd been hit in the face many times before. I made myself as unthreatening as I knew how, because I still didn't know his purpose for being here. My steps were slow, but steady, and I wasn't feeling particularly nervous, so I supposed that must have shown too. I don't know, I don't know what emotions look like. My long-furred tail swished, not in a friendly way. I got up close to him, leaving enough room for another dog to sit between us, by the intensity of his scent. I stared at him with unseeing blue eyes, before saying bluntly:
"You aren't Lithium." I'm a genuis, aren't I? "Who re you?"

Decode Sunset, I close my eyes. I pretend everything's alright, Drowning in anger from all these lies, I can't pretend everything's alright Please don't let me fall forever... Can you tell me it's over? As the doberman cross trotted casually over the dry streets of the concrete jungle, her warm brown optics flickered momentarily up to the darkening sky. For most of the day it had been blue skys and sunshine, but as the day wore on typical dark grey clouds began to loom on the horizon. Quite an uneventful day it had been so far and the female felt quite bored as she made her way over the concrete. Auds perked, panting softly as a wide tongue hung lazily over the sharp bottom canines, moving in a steady rhythm with her breathing. The ebony and toffee brown colouring of her pelt rose and fell in time with her ribs, her muscular doberman legs propelling her beautiful form over the ground. The deep optics that lay in her skull seemed warm and welcoming, yet they held so many secrets that the female never revealed. Oh how she loved to be so mysterious around everyone. It was really quite fun to keep them guessing, what was she thinking as she watched them? What was she feeling? Only Decode knew. Heck, she didn't even know herself sometimes.
A small smirk fell upon her maw as she bounced in a smooth beat over the earth, heading in the direction of the old car lot. A few days ago she had been here for the pack meeting but hadn't visited it since. So she had felt it was time to visit her baby that sat in the lot. No, not literally. It was her favourite car of all time, a miracle it was in this used car lot, perhaps misplaced here by the humans. Either way, she didn't care. The Audi R8 was her chosen car and she loved it. Entering the car lot, dark optics took in several other forms as dogs lazed around on their own chosen cars, but she ignored them as she passed. She had eyes only for her car. In several graceful bounds, she had reached the metal beast. With another quick leap she landed on the bonnet before padding up the windscreen and onto the roof. Noticing the dark, threatening clouds had suddenly shifted off towards the east, the female gave a small sigh of contentment before laying her belly onto the warm roof. Stretching her forelegs infront of her, her ebony back at as slight slant as her hind legs curled to one side, her angular head moved forward and layed rest on her front paws as they hung over the edge of the roof. Closing her eyes slowly, she drifted in and out of conciousness as the creature was not quite tired enough to sleep.
Moments later, maybe hours later? She didn't really know, time moved at such odd paces while one slept. Decode heard a voice, a females, as she opened her heavy eyes to search for the owner. Optics came to focus on a female catahoula cur. Suicide. Decode had seen her several times around the pack grounds and knew her name, but had never really spoken to her. She was speaking to a male siberian husky. Lithium? He certainly looked the spitting image of him, but something was different... The eyes. Yes, that was it. They definetly weren't Lithiums eyes. Who was this similar dog? Dee wasn't really too interested, she had become more focused on sleeping. Yet, she thought she might investigate. Getting slowly to her paws and after a long, muscle pulling stretch, she hopped daintly off of her beauty and wove between several other cars before stopping a short distance away. She noticed that the female was blind. This was unfortunate, but she knew Suicide's other senses were hightened by her loss of sight. Laying her rump on the concrete between two cars and giving a small nod towards Suicide, Decode let her gentle voice flow towards the two creatures.
"May I also ask who you are stranger?" Her smooth, calm voice revealed no emotions. Keeping her usual mysterious aura about her.

Damien's handsome head turned as a female approached him. The others seemed either scared to meet their new crush or just didn't have the guts to do so. This one however didn't seem at all bothered by his devilishly good looks. It was moments after when she got closer he realised why. She was blind. On one hand it was a shame she couldn't see the god he was but on the other it just gave Damien a challenge. He loved challenges. Letting a smirk grace his lips he lifted his bottom from the ground and turned round fully to look at her. She was quite an attractive pooch actually now he got a good look at her. He couldn't help but stare into her eyes wondering if he stared long enough she'd actually see him. It was always tough to leave a lasting good impression on a dog that was blind or deaf. Damien however wasn't the type to just give up. After all he had a huge love for challenges.
"No, I'm not. You must have a great sense of smell. I'm Damien. His brother. The one he never talks about." He spoke, a playful tone on the last sentence and a smirk upon his lips. He couldn't help but chuckle a little planting his bottom back down on the concrete. As he did so he noticed another female heading their way. A doberman from what he could tell. Perhaps a doberman pinscher mix due to the ears which he noticed as he tilted his head. A pretty thing if you liked the bad girl type. Damien liked any types and certainly wasn't picky when it came to females. He'd touch anything he could get his paws on. Damien was just that kind of male. He watched her walk over noticing how confident she appeared with every stride she took. My, my, Lithium definately had himself set up well didn't he? Sexy females, a good size territory... What more could a male want? Of course Damien knew he had to figure out who was the alpha female so he didn't get himself kicked out for hitting on her. Other then that though Damien felt quite good about sticking around here for a while. "As I told the cutie over there, I'm Damien, Lithium's older brother. You two haven't seen the twerp anywhere have you?" He responded to the doberman before asking the playful question to both females. After all he wanted both of their opinions. The more females the better in his opinion. Letting his tongue poke out between his fangs he then licked his lips letting his gaze go from one female to the other and back again. Wasn't he blessed to have such a good welcoming. Lithium couldn't have done any better if he planned it. Lifting his bottom off the ground he stood on all fours letting his legs stretch out a bit. The sunshine flooded over his black and white fur whilst his tail wagged a bit. Damien was definately an almost perfect if not perfect specimen of a siberian husky. Parting his lips he let his mouth open quite wide as he yawned. Closing his mouth he then placed his bottom back on the concrete sitting once more infront of the two females. "May I know what the names are of you two stunning females?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

I was unfazed by the knowledge that Lithium had a brother; most dogs have siblings, after all. Nor did it strike me as odd that Lithium didn't speak of Damien; I had three brothers that I never mentioned, because they lived many miles away, and no one I knew here was likely to have met them. However, something in Damien's tone implied that there was more to it than that, and I felt rather curious; was there bad blood between them? What a shame that would be, brothers should not fight. I was forming a reply when I heard paws on concrete, coming closer. I turned my head, partly to hear the approach better, and partly to acknowledge the dog's presence. She smelled familiar, and I recognized her as someone I'd crossed paths with at a distance; I didn't know her name, but I knew her to be a dominix member. Unsure if she had even noticed me -I've noticed that the "I can't see you, you can't see me" saying is often very true- I ducked my head in greeting to her, but remained silent. I felt oddly unhappy not to be the only one in Damien's company, but I didn't see the point in such an emotion, and shoved it away.
Damien's next words startled me. Cutie? I tilted my ears in a bewildered way, and pointed my face at him. I didn't know what I looked like, but I knew "cute" was apparently good, and for the first time since I was a pup, I wondered what I looked like. I knew I was white, and I had spots, but that meant nothing to me, and I knew my head was above the heads of many other dogs, below some dogs, and level with others. I didn't know what that meant, but it never really seemed important. To Damien's question, I snorted, and grinned widely, showing my teeth. "Sorry, I've never seen Lithium. I've never seen anybody." It wasn't really a sore spot for me; I've been blind since birth, but every once in a while, I would run into that one dog who would delight in taunting my "freakishness". In my early years, it hurt, but I've become immune to it now; let the fools mock me all they want, and while they do, I'll go on with my life. I wonder if they'll laugh along, or if the nameless female will scold him for insensitivity, and he'll whine apologies at me. He doesn't strike me as a whiner, nor her a scolder, so I feel comfortable that I won't have to walk away, but I don't know if they'll find it funny, either. I do.
I wondered how Lithium would feel about his brother being here; he had named me his beta female, something I was still feeling odd about. Why give a blind girl the task of keeping an entire pack in order? Then again, obviously the leader felt that I could do it, so who was I to say I couldn't without trying? Last time I was in a pack was when I was a pup, and I knew that everyone pulled their own weight. Except in my old pack, I hadn't pulled any weight, because I was the blind girl, and no one thought I could do anything. It's why I left, really. Shaking myself out of my reverie, I perked my ears, one towards Damien, and one towards the female. "Little Miss Suicide, though I much prefer Suicide." I wondered if I should state my rank, and decided against it; I didn't want either to think I was bragging, and it was still an awkward idea for me.

Decode Sunset, I close my eyes. I pretend everything's alright, Drowning in anger from all these lies, I can't pretend everything's alright Please don't let me fall forever... Can you tell me it's over? Decodes tail twitched slowly from side to side as she sat upon the warm concrete. Auds perked forwards as she felt the unknown male analysing her before speaking. She hid a smirk as he called Suicide a cutie, never really having thought about it herself. So, he was Lithiums brother. Damien? Interesting name, it generally suggested the devil. For a moment she pondered over this before answering his question.
"The last time I saw Lithium was at the pack meeting several days ago. I haven't seem him since." One aud twitched to the side as the car behind her emitted a quiet cracking noise as it expanded in the heat. Warm brown optics came to rest on Damien as she watched him look from her to Suicide. With a quick sweep of her eyes, she took in the muscular form, thick fur and odd coloured eyes. He was pretty much the spitting image of Lithium if it weren't for the eyes. Both males were outstanding creatures. Only a few days ago at the pack meeting, Lithium had told Decode that her and Vesta were in the running for lead females. It was something that came as a shock to the doberman cross. Her? A possible lead female? The thought was really quite odd. She actually doubted that she had much of a chance. Vesta was really quite stunning, and suited Lithium so much more than Decode did. The alpha had stated that he wanted to get to know both of them better which posed quite a problem for Dee. She was mysterious and that was the way she liked it. Never did she say much about herself. It was quite amusing to the female. In fact she didn't even like to speak much at all.
Now was not the time to think about being lead female. Of course she would like it, who wouldn't? Despite this thought, Decode pushed the ideas away and focused on the female and male that sat before her. The ebony and toffee coloured female sat watching the pretty blind female state her name before doing the same. "And my name is Decode." She decided against adding the shorter version, only those very close to her heart could do so. Which was few. She sat in silence for a moment before daring to question Damien. "So why have you returned, Damien? Might I ask." Her deep optics came to rest on his red-ish coloured ones as she sat waiting patiently for a response. Auds perked casually in his direction and her face emotionless.

Under the starry skies - where eagles have flown, This place is paradise - it's the place I call home, It's to here - I will always... always return.

Damien hadn't realised what he had said until Miss Suicide's response to him. He honestly hadn't meant in that way... Well, he hadn't meant to seem insensitive. She didn't seem to have taken it the wrong way. Infact she seemed like she had meant it as a joke. Standing up once more he found himself even more curious about the blind female. She definately had spirit. He liked that. She didn't seem afraid to challenge him either which amused him. He liked to be amused. Some females ended up just being so boring that they really were only good for one thing - breeding. Curious he stepped forward letting his gaze look her over as if he was searching for something. He couldn't see her personality from her coat of course but in a way that was what he was looking for. She definately intrigued him which was an unusual thing to happen to Damien. Sure, he was interested in some females for a short amount of time but this was different.
"Your a quick one aren't ya? Don't worry, your not missing out on much sight wise. That is apart from my godly good looks, but that can't be helped now can it precious?" He spoke with a smile. His gaze rested on Miss Suicide for a moment finding her name just as intriguing as she was. Now why would someone name a pretty little thing like her Miss Suicide? It sounded positively horrific. She should have a pretty name. "Well, I hope you don't mind, but I think I'll call you Missy. Suits you far better." He spoke with a playful smirk before his gaze rested back on the attractive doberman cross. Ah, so his dear brother had been seen a couple days ago. He could have gotten into so much mischeif since then. A smirk rose on his lips at that thought. The mischeif his brother would get up too would most definately include females and them fighting over him. A male after his own heart really. No wonder they were brothers. Damien smirked a little before refocusing his attention back on the doberman cross. She was no doubt one of the females his brother was probably eyeing. "Decode huh? You must be quite a mystery to have such a name." He responded, his eyes sparkling. He definately didn't need his brother welcoming him with these two pretty females around. "Well I returned to see my brother and mooch off him for a while. I got bored of travelling the world and decided family is where the heart is. Since he is the only family I have left this is where I came, and I must say its the best decision I ever made." He could have added onto that thought but he had a feeling both females knew what he meant already.
