[/i][/size]Waters runnin' in the wrong direction,
Got a feelin' its a mixed up sign,
I can see it in my own reflection.
Although no one had seen her at the Dominix pack meeting Angel had been around. Two females were in the running for the alpha female - neither her. There could be a third in the new rottweiler from what she heard of the rumours. Angel couldn't say she was heartbroken since she hadn't given Lithium a clear sign she was interested but at the same time she was hurt. She had experience as an alpha female. She could do the job with ease and well... she thought he had liked her. Angel had finally come round to dogs and to being in a dog pack only to have what she wanted taken away from her. She let out a sigh as she wandered into the abandoned theatre. She supposed she hadn't lost anything in general but it didn't make things any easier. She had told Lithium her past. The only dog or creature outside her old pack that knew about her and her past.
"I guess I was stupid. How could I ever compare to his harem of females? Its stupid actually now I think about it. Why would he even want a wolf hybrid anyway?"[/i]
Shaking her head at her own words she turned from the lobby of the theatre and went through a pair of double doors. She instantly smelt sticky popcorn, left over fizzy drinks and probably human remains. No one would smell her in here. Just what she wanted. Perhaps some alone time would help her get over everything and used to an exsistance alone. God, the thought of being alone made her whole body spasm in pain. She was a naturally social creature. Wolves were meant to be in a pack. Dogs were meant to be in a pack. She was meant to be in a pack. She was meant to be with other canines. Yet... she just couldn't find it in her just to be in a pack. No, she wanted to be the alpha female, and she wanted an alpha male that was her perfect partner. She didn't want to settle for anything less. So she had high goals... it wasn't a bad thing. However right now it didn't seem to be doing any good either.
Trotting down the left theatre aisle she passed the various rows of seats until she came to the front row. She paused in movement and just stood there staring up at the huge screen that once would have been alive with movies that would give the humans excitement, romance, action, fantasy, and perhaps even hope for their own future. Turning away from the screen she looked over the front row of seats and finally found one that was actually clean. Trotting over to it she leapt up onto the seat, curling up on it and letting her tail go over one arm and her front paws rest on the other as she rests her head on top of her front paws. The silence seemed to suit her. After all learning a male you might like already had his sights on two, maybe three, females from his own pack wasn't exactly like having a surprise party. It was the opposite. Closing her eyes she surrendered herself to the silence hoping if she laid here long enough she would fall asleep.
