Her head swayed back and forth as she stared at the blank screen. Her eyes were trained on the flickering lights that fringed the theater and soon enough Domi was blinking in sync with the flashing lights. Pretty... She thought idly, her eyes half-closed as she watched the hypnotizing lights. How wondeful the theater smelled of food and goodies yet tantalized the dogs that passed for they are not to be seen. A slight growl passed Dominique but dissapeared as she stood up on the crimson seat, looking left and right for any sign of a rival dog. Nothing. She shook herself off; dust flying everywhere and her tongue flopping out happily. She skipped over the seat hand rests' and found herself in the middle aisle. Something like a purr came from her throat and she quickly came to the stage that was just below the movie screen. Her head tilted upward to look at the towering black screen.
Domi had joined the Dominix pack partly because she had no other choice and partly for the fact it had the word 'Domi' in it! A smirk displayed itself on her lips and her scar disfigured even more. With another coat shake she paced back and forth along the narrow stage of the black movie screen. A small snippet of the last movie that was playing blared to life and Domi jumped back in suprise, tripping over the side. She regained her hold and saw the last few seconds of what seemed to be a man-human holding up a small, fish-like casket. Domi had seen it before... it caused horrible things! She cowered back, her hair on end. The man on the screen had had a grave expression with tired eyes and whiting hair. He probably died because of the thing he held. Dmminique keened aloud and hoped desperately someone, anyone, would come and be her companion once and for all. Wether it be my pack or another, I will have a mamma and pappa!

~Eagle padded into the abandoned move theater. It was sticky and disgusting, a rotten foul mess. Yes, he wasn't exactly the cleanest canine, but this was too far. He hadn't noticed anyone inside just yet, but he couldn't be too sure. There was no way to scent anything, let alone another dog and no matter where he went the light seemed to shine right into his eyes. Suddenly a loud keening wail split the eerie silence. An old human film had sprung to life and a young dog was yowling in front of it. It looked so sad.
~Eagle couldn't yet see or smell her, but it looked like female and seemed pretty young, around a year or such. He raced towards the other dog and skidded to a stop in front of her. She had a scar that cut across her face. He looked at the dog with mixed curiosity and concern. "Are you alright little pup?" he asked.

Gypsy .. the l o n e traveller
♦ a crackling sound came from beneath the females paws as she bounded down the centre of the room, row after row of chairs on either side of her. The sound of it irritated her mainly because it gave away her position, unless any dog near was deaf. She paused in her stride, brushing her nose through the rubbish. The smells that travelled through her nose were enough to make Gypsy gag. She was hoping that by chance one of the wrappers littered on the floor might have some food inside, but no such luck. Gypsy continued to dart down the path.
♦ her direction suddenly veered to the side, entering one of rows. She bunched her muscles, leaping onto an empty seat and sat down to watch the show. Or rather, critisize. What's so great about this flashing thing? All it's giving me is a headache. She hated the bright colours that stung her eyes, and each loud sound pierced her acoustics. She could never understand the humans, which was partly why she hated them. Why did they watch a human acting on screen when they had reality to deal with?
♦ her thoughts were disturbed when the wail of a dog split through the air. She lifted herself up in her seat to get a good view of what dog released the noise. Gypsy tipped her head to one side in a baffled way, as the dog appeared to be in fear of the screen, but Gypsy wasn't paying attention to what was on the screen. Before she could move she saw a husky race down the theatre to the females aid. His lips moved, but Gypsy couldn't make out the words. She leapt down from her seat, trotting towards the two. As she approached, another dog was on scene, and by looks she could tell it was another husky, but darker hued then the first.
♦ "Look who's lost, and stumbled into hell," came the voice from the third dog. She bunched her muscles, launching onto the area where they stood effortlessly. Her claws tapped against the ground as she came up behind the three, sauntering as she held no speck of fear in life, but she was infact quite nervous. It'd been awhile since she'd met other canines. "And here's Satan itself, ready to punish those who trespass on its turf.
" Her tone was mocking as she paused by the group, lifting her chin. " So, what's the occasion?" The mock in her voice had vanished to simple curiousity. She knew these dogs had just come together, and there wasn't any occasion behind it, but it sounded better then 'why are you here?', so she stuck with it. Her brown eyes passed from each dog, to see which would speak first. Muse; 'sokay Notes; hopping into the thread with Gypsy. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lithium padded into the old movie theater. His twin harks were pricked upright, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come about. Lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom canines as he panted. Muscles rippled easily beneath his ebony and ivory mixed pelt. His tail curled in a pinwheel over his back. His nose detected that this place still smelled of candy, popcorn and other human goodies. A faint smile formed on his face as he easily slipped through the opened door. It was hanging off its hinges at this point. Once inside, Lithium detected a few females and a male that had passed through here. Members of his pack. He smirked and grinned then followed the scent until he came up theater number 5. He nudged the door open with his nose and slipped inside.
He approached the females and planted his rump down on the ground. The floor had burbon carpeting, in the center aisle. The rest of the floor was sticky. Thankfully he'd sat in the center aisle. He glanced from each female to the male and spoke.
"Enjoying the show so far?" he asked grinning in a coy manner. He recognized them. Domi, Gypsy, Zaniel and Eagle. Zaniel was also a husky like himself. Both ears turned toward them, awaiting them for speech. He had decided to come here to do some exploring, but now that members of his pack had come here, they could go exploring together. It would be wonderful.
"What are you lot doing out here today?" his tone was teasing and light as he watched them.
He was glad to see everyone pretty much getting along. Lithium didn't stand for insubordination and would quickly act on that the minute it started. He continued to wait patiently but impatiently.

Rambo smelled the air just outside the theater, it comforted him. Mostly because human traces could still be scented in it, be it ever so slightly. He shook his body, his leather collar he kept as a reminder of his past life clinked and clanged with the tags that hung on strong. He couldn't smell the other dogs, at least, not yet. He was being lazy in this part of town since it seemed dead, for the most part. A dog or two...maybe even the occasional stray human. He sighed out loud, giving no reason to be stealthy.
Rambo half-trotted into the theater, his senses tuned out and pretty soon he was hardly paying attention to where he was walking. Rambo had decided to finally check the theater. He avoided the large buildings in an area unless he knew the other parts were clear of dogs or mean-spirited humans. So far, so good. 'This place is nice. Dirty, but nice.' he thought. He noticed the concession stand was hardly touched and investigated. This turned out to be a regretful choice as the food back in there was rotted or gone, Rambo even almost threw up near the hot-dog machine the smell was so putrid. He understood, it had been untouched for years.
He walked into one of the theaters, but it was pitch black. He entered the one next to it, this one was lit decently. He inspected, relying mostly on his nightvision capabilities to see where he was going when he decided to pay attention. Nothing interested him in this room, so he left to explore the rest. Rambo went from theater to theater, exploring them all until he got bored as nothing interesting happened. He decided to go into the last theater and inspect it before he left back to seek shelter, it was getting late.
The door opened loudly and his collar tags clinked and clanged against itself; the smell hit him hard. Other dogs.... Rambo's eyes widened and his senses snapped into high alert. They were possibly from one of the three main packs, something he did not want to get involved in. Rambo sunk down low, to a crawl, hoping he could just hide somewhere and avoid a fight. But, he knew he would be caught, he was too big to hide anywhere to keep himself safe. Rambo sighed and rose up to see the small pack before him, they didn't seem to notice, but how long would that last?
Rambo knew he was a good and quite a vicious fighter...but this...this many could tear him apart in seconds, before he even got a chance to react. No...no he would not die not today... Rambo pondered what to do next, he didn't know. He was at a loss....if he ran he would surely be caught. It didn't matter anymore, he would be found out about anyways.
He whimpered without thinking, breaking his unknown presence. 'Eh...what the hell...' Rambo thought. He barked at the pack in a friendly way. "Hello!" Nervously he made his way down the aisle toward the pack........

Lithium turned his attention onto the large rottweiler that had stepped into the theater. Lithium raised an eyebrow at him and began speaking to him.
"Hello to you stranger," he said emphasizing the word 'stranger'. "This is the Dominix territory. Are you aware of that? Perhaps you are new in town so I'm not gonna feed you the rats in the graveyard." he smirked at the male before him.
Lithium inhaled and turned his attention to the rest of his pack mates.
"Do not bother him. He's simply new in town. He needs to be brought up to speed on the ways of the city," Lithium said to them as he pulled himself up onto all fours and began slowly circling the brute, but not trying to frighten him, simply let him know what was going on here.
"My name is Lithium. What is your name?" he asked the rottweiler as he stopped circling him and planted his rump down on the ground again, forelegs coming around to the front of his chest. He regarded the brute before him and kept both ears turned toward him , awaiting his response.
Lithium sometimes ripped tresspassers limb from limb because he didn't tolerate that shit. But looking at the brute before him, he was no match. So now, the other alternative was to teach him the ways of the packs. He watched the brute, keeping his tone business like but not aggressive or mean.
"See, this pack I rule. We are against the Ruthgo pack and the Mafia, as they want to wipe us out. We feel that the other packs should be our slaves and no one elses. Tresspassers dont always walk out of here alive. But I've decided not to head that route with you since you are new here." Lithium said smoothly and waited for the newcomer to speak.

Rambo stared at the Huskey. He was going to be let alive? He felt like jumping for joy. Though he was easily more than twice the size of the 'leader' in front of him and could probably rip him to shreds, there were other pack members around. Rambo stood no chance versus four or five other dogs. He'd be killed almost instantly.
"I know about the packs, I've been here almost two months...I just don't know the territories. I'm sorry, sir." Rambo stood a little straighter and looked around himself. The other dogs didn't seem to pay attention. "Look I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm only exploring, I have no alliances. I'm alone. I am the only one left from the community I guarded" He clenched his teeth repeatedly, a nervous tick. He didn't know what to expect...he was in the presence of a leader and probably more than half his pack.
"Lithium was it? Yeah...I have nothing, really. All I come around these parts for is food and some water..." he looked around himself again, then back at Lithium, "and to kill as many Infected as I can..." A slight growl escaped his lips as he talked about them. "I murder them on sight, any way possible." He figured this might earn him at least some respect from the leader, maybe the pack itself. Needless to say he was still scared out of his mind. He hated that, he couldn't hide it very well which was a part of his training he could never do. Rambo's eyes stared hard at Lithium, trying to fight off the fear he felt as to not make himself look weak. That was something he could not do.

Lithium listened to Rambo?.Interesting...he doesnt want the infected around anymore than you do Lithium thought to himself curiously and musingly. Lithium regarded Rambo.
"The infected you say? Oh yes. We are aware of them. They are abominations that need to be taken out. They cannot live. If we have any chance of ruling, they cannot be allowed to live and this way, the humans wont be able to flourish back into existance yet. What are your ideas, brute?" Lithium asked him curiously.
Lithium turned to his pack.
"If this brute has some ligitimate good ideas, we could use is tactics in taking down the infected. But the only thing is, we dont know if the disease will spread to us. We might have to find a guinea pig to test it on. Do not worry. I will never put any one of my pack members in jeopardy. And , you seem to be proving worthy brute, I dont thin I will sacrifice you either," Lithium said turning to Rambo next.
He thought for amoment and spoke.
"I think we're going to have to go and fetch some test subjects," he said smirking to his pack and then turned to Rambo. "Have you come in contact with these infected before? How do they move?"
He kept both ears cocked toward the rottweiler and waited for him to speak. If this brute had come in contact with the infected many times before, then the proof is standing right in front of them. It might not pass onto the canine gene pool. Still, cautions would have to be taken tough, hence the guinea pigs or other canines unwillingly forced into the position. He waited for Rambo to respond.

"The park and 5th Avenue. Those are their strongholds, and they all seem to work together, no split groups or alliances. The easiest way to kill them and to make sure they die is it snap their neck, or rip their throat out and possibly decapitate. I have seen some live through a throat-ripping possibly due to an altered anatomy." Rambo stated firmly. This might be his way to make nice with these...feral things.
"I have eaten my fair share of their flesh. It's rotten and not worth the trouble, their blood is sour and revolting. I threw up then I got my first taste." He smiled and cocked his head slightly. "Their Infection does not pass on to our canine blood. As if it did, I would not be standing in front of you, would I? I'd be one of......them." he growled and looked outside. The contempt rising and his blood boiled. Rambo felt like going hunting for some right now. The taste didn't bother him so much as killing them gave him pleasure. It outweighed the cons, very much so.
"They sleep and hunt in the large buildings lining the avenue and the park is where they go for recreation as it seems. many of them carry pipes and pieces of wood with nails on the ends of them in case anything happens. There is a way to avoid their blows....come from behind and use the Infected you are currently murd-" He laughed and paused for a moment, "Sorry, I mean exterminating as a shield from the others. They don't seem to be smart enough to just walk around behind you, so rip away. But that's even if they have the courage to attack. Normally, nobody will they'll just run for their pitiful, pathetic lives."
A twisted look played across Rambo's face as he stared hard at Lithium. "I kill any of them. Females, Children, Males especially. They're the most common to attack you on sight. I've been ambushed before, unsuccessfully of course. I've torn their pups apart and made the parents watch in agony before I turned to them. It's such a delightful and wonderous feeling. You should try it some time, with a pack of you it should be even that much more..." he paused and licked his lips intently, "...invigorating"

Lithium listened to Rambo speaking and smirked at him. His eyes glinted with glee.
"Well then, I see no reason why we cannot attack them then ourselves. Perhaps there is no need for the guinea pigs today," Lithium said with a slight edge of disappointment. He regarded Rambo.
"You will be considered a great allie to us. For providing this information," Lithium said to him nodding in resecpt to Rambo. "You will be regarded as a close friend and would be welcomed to roam about our lands if you wish, or you may start your own pack as I have heard there are currently free lands available toward the south of the city"
Lithium turned to the rest of is pack.
"As for you lot, I would like you to head to the used car lot. We have much to discuss about our attack methods," Lithium said to them and pulled himself up onto all fours, spreading his legs to give his body a rigorous shake. His ears flapped against his skull and he slowly waved his tail at Rambo. It was in a pinwheel type curl over his back. Lithium nodded to Rambo.
"We shall look forward to taking down the infected. If you wish to join us, you can meet us at 3rd avenue on the 12th," he spoke to him. They could basically use all the help they could get, even if the pack was a relatively good size. Plus, Lithium regarded Rambo now as a good friend. And he respected him greatly. It was not often that Lithium made friends, specially those of the same sex, but here Rambo was, and he was glad. He would never actually say that aloud but no one had to know.

'Good...' Rambo thought, 'acceptnce. Now I have something to back me up if need be...That is if the other packs decided to even attack me. Stupid mistake.' His own voice echoed in his mind, sounding rather cocky. His isolation and pure bloodlust had changed him slightly, making him more...raw. Not evil, but real. Something more risky than he was before. Fear left his body, now all he felt was satisfaction. Although he did have these feelings for the Infected his manipulation worked on Lithium rather well...
"That's not too far from here. Expect me, I will not be late. Why would I be? I haven't had a good Infected hunt in a long time...this might be more fun now that I have, dare I say, friends to accompany me. Rambo shook his head, something in his ear was bothering him. "Can you give me the boundaries of this city? I know of three other packs, but one doesn't have any. I just would like to know where and where not to tread. Ending up dead is....not really desireable. I can't let you down, can I?" Rambo winked at Lithium and looked back at the rest of the pack
Maybe now he would live longer than he expected. He needed to at all costs...His old Community depended on him to avange their meaningless deaths. A heavy burden for sure but it didn't matter, Rambo was ready for anything the world could throw at him. He felt invincible, indestructable. With these dogs as allies he could finally make the big strike to really hurt the infected number at their core....in the tallest skyscraper lining 5th Avenue. They have to have a ruler of sorts, as many have attempted ambushing Rambo. Only time will tell.

Lithium listend to Rambo. He thought for a moment and then began speaking.
"Well the Ruthgo pack have the psychiatric hospital, St. Augustines church and Pier 9. The Mafia have a bit more of a diverse area, but thats to the east almost near the outskirts, so you dont really have to worry about them too much. The Leeks dont really have a pack, they are merely nomads that wander around. And thats about it really." Lithium said shrugging one furry shoulder.
He regarded Rambo again.
"And I know you wont let me down," he said smirking now slightly. "Becasue the last person that failed me is now buried six feet under"
Lithium felt an itch forming on his neck again as he raised a hind leg up and leaned into it, and began kicking at a certain spot on his shoulder. The loose fur around his neck jingled from the force of the kick. Once the itch was gone, he lowered his hind leg and yawned, clearly tired now and hungry at the same time. He turned to his pack.
"Come its time to hunt some food before we retire," he spoke to them and turned to Rambo next.
"Would you care to join us? I'm sure you'd be an asset to our hunt, being as you are well fit," Lithium said smoothly to him as his blue eyes caught the sunlight making them glow slightly. Both ears were pricked up right acoustics cupping any noise that might come to them. He was a little irritated that his pack hadn't spoke or made any kind of acknowledgement here. He kept his body rigid as he glanced to them.
"Well? I want your input here" he said coldly and waited for someone to speak again.
