An Old World of Magic and Intrigues
Welcome to Ethus, an original fantasy setting with magic, dragons, and nine playable races. A forum based RP we've been an active community for several years. Our current storyline is quite developed but we have recently updated our current plots and are eager to invite in some new players.
Aganthis: A City in Descent
Our newest setting is that of Aganthis, a floating ruin that is threatening to fall out of the sky. Since it's rediscovery it has been repopulated and those living there are searching for answers at the floating island's heart. It's a place for dangerous beasts and stoic wizards yet also a tourist attraction. Characters can become trainers of dragons, delve into the city's darkest tunnels, or seek supremacy of a council of master wizards.
Onise: A City by the Sea
The half-undersea city of Onise has had its problems on and off, but today its largest problem is an infestation of unwanted mer-people. They came from far and wide for a religious celebration and have since overstayed their welcome. Loud partying disrupts the shoreline beach day in and day out. Even the local mer-people are displeased with the latest turn of events, but these changes may herald a shift in the city's religious tides.
Most of all we like to let players develop their own plots and bring them to life. If you've never seen us before or you've known us in the past, stop in and have a look. We'd love to have you.
