Dog Breed Question

My dad is trying to tell a friend of his about a breed of dog he's fond of, but he can't think of the breed name. He says it resembles an Airedale, but is smaller; I told him I'd see if I could find out. I'm going to check the internet, but I was hoping that someone here might be able to name an Airedale-like dog for me. Thank you. ^^

EDIT: he found it; Wheaton Terrier. Is it just me, or do they NOT look very much like Airedales? lol.

You probably have a more defined perception of dogs then the average person.
To me personally they look very similar.
