Small rays of sunshine were only just peeking over the horizon. They were giving off a small glare against the glass windshield on the cars that were scattered all across the parking lot. Everything was still pretty dim for the most part.Everywhere that one may look, shadows were still coated all across the pavement. In other words, dawn was only just started to arrive. There was still a slight chill the lingering in the air. Everything seemed still, until the silence was shattered when the sight of a petite redhead entered the area. Her curled tail flicked back and forth every now and then. Her misty blue eyes flickered across the lot.
Against the deep grey concrete backdrop, Vesta stood out like a sore thumb. Her soft, yet deep mahogany colored pelt seemed to colorful compared to the dullness of the flooring. Light footsteps made their way along the parking lot. It was almost as if she wasn't even there, for hearing her would have been very difficult. The only sensible way for her to have been detected, would have been by smell.
Just across the parking lot, was a empty tin barrel that had been overturned. Perfect shelter from a vixen on her own. After a brief moment of pausing, scanning over the area again. she let down her guard. She padded over to the metal structure and headed inside, curling around to where her maw and head were still sticking out. She rested her head on her paws, still gazing out. "Where the hell is everyone...." She spoke to herself with a light sigh.

The glow seemed all too brilliant to most who wandered these parts so willingly, knowledge of the live-in pack of this general area was one to set most on edge especially considering what was at stake for meandering their terra. Still, it seemed this general spot was one for the temps and even Leo liked that. He had stopped here the night before, the cool shade giving way to his body and sleep creeping in upon him like some plagued drug. So, he stopped, little knowledge to the surrounding packs made it easy for him to pick and choose a resting spot and that night this was it. The El Camino he always found as a treat to one such as himself, this one of no exception with the cool blaze camper shell and a few abandoned blankets to rest upon made it the ideal spot for him that night. When morning rose he remained cool and silent, listening calmly to the passing world as he took ample opportunity to bask in his quiet solitary confines. Around the time the sun began to creep higher over the horizon was when he caught the smell and suddenly jerked from his rested spot.
Nostrils flared mildly in search more of what had suddenly become a crucial notification to him, something of a warning perhaps and being one to divulge in intellect rather than battle for brawn he wasn't really in the mood this morning to fight if he had to. He traced the scent from where he lay and briefed himself that this was in fact a lady, a lone lady. He smiled lightly, at least perhaps he would not be in tack of angered houseguests this morn. Slowly he rose and pivoted, remaining hunched to keep himself from hitting the camper shell roof. A long silent stretch was made before he retreated his momentary sanctuary and began a short trek to find the said femme. His long strides led him through the car lot with little effort, and if it hadn't been for his sense of smell he would have passed her completely. Turning cooly to face her he saw that she was a husky, her radiant blue stare distant even as he approached. The tin can she lay in was fairly small, something he would have never fit into in a million years and he simply towered over it with no effort at all. He stood where he was, not wanting to invoke hostilities as he let a brief smile pass his features.
Well well, seems I'm not the only one to take fancy to this place. I'm Leo, a drifter...so no worries, please.
His voice was deep, yet not as deep as one would have thought from him. It held a pristine sound that seemed to belong more to knights or noble kings than to a stray white wolfhound, yet it was comforting to most as he had been told numerous times. His smile fading slightly he held a curious stare, calm and relaxed as it always was and simply waiting for a response of any kind. He rarely cared if they were sarcastic or rude, all he cared about was to hear them speak when perhaps they wouldn't normally. [/blockquote][/color]
