Lithium's paws bounced as he headed into the used car lot. Today, he was going to give out ranks and also, importantly, jobs for every member of the pack. The husky brute slipped around a used Toyota SUV and found his most favorite car. It was a 2010 Mercedes Benz sedan. Surprisingly, it was still in relatively good shape. The silver of the car was still clean. Lithium padded over to it and leapt up onto the hood. He planted his rump on the hood, letting his forelegs come around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. His tail curled around his back paws. He tilted his head to the sky and let out a loud howl, which he knew would be heard by his pack.
His blue eyes were slowly skimming over the car lot. He would allow each member to choose a car as theirs. Basically like a little shelter. This was where the pack slept, ate and did pack business. The cars provided excellent shelter during natures fury, as well as during the cold winter months. His tail thumped against the hood, making a little 'thumpd' noise. Lithium knew is pack wouldn't be far behind and felt a smug smile forming on his facade. He had gathered a pretty good sized pack. It was healthy and he had some pretty good canines. Today, he would appoint a baby sitter for the pups, when the time came, a omega, beta, and guardians. The lead would not come yet as he wanted to get to know a few of the females more closely before he made that kind of jump. Even though he was a bastard, he had morals. Rushing into finding a mate was not something he wanted to do right now. Lithium patiently waited for his pack to show up.

Thrysyn had been watching the clouds roll by, lying on his belly, his dark amber eyes directed towards the forget-me-not blue. He felt tired and weary probably due to the fact he had been up all night stargazing. Perhaps being nocturnal pretty much everyday didn't suit him so much as he laid there in complete exhaustion. As the clouds above him began to get blurry, it dawned on Try that his eyes were about to close, which he more than welcomed. The sleep was taking it's toll upon him when a sudden howl caused Try to jump up, alarmed.
Realizing he wasn't in any danger, Try scoffed then groaned, recognizing this particular howl now that he had snapped from his daze. "Lithium..." mumbled Try under his breath as he slowly got to his feet. The fact that he had been so close to blissful sleep resulted in Try to become rather cranky. He let out a big yawn once again and shook himself in an attempt to revive his fatigue.
Sensitive ears pricked up in alert, Try could instantly tell that Lithium's howl had come from the car lot. Then again, all meetings took place there so it didn't come to much of a surprise. Deciding that he should sprint it, maybe the run would wake him up more, Try dashed off. Feeling the cool air in his face, worked as it rushed through his thick fur, the tiredness he once felt now drained away. Skidding to a halt before the car lot, Try let out a lazy sigh before trotting within it.
He spotted a two other dogs, puppies to be exact, had already arrived along with Lithium standing in his usual area. Try picked an area a little ways off from everyone else and sat there. Looking up at Lithium he gave a polite nod before looking towards the sky as he had been doing earlier.

Sometimes life's a challenge; but if it wasn't, would it be worth living? I hear the howl clear as a raptor's hunting scream, and I can tell exactly which direction it came from. My nose is to the ground, sniffing at a sewer drain, but I turn my head placidly and perk my ears; my eyes remain motionless, although I blink a few times. The howl sounds like the alpha, and it's definitely a summons to the dominix pack; I suppose that means my attendance is required. I sigh heavily, and turn away, continuing to sniff at the drain. Something had been here earlier, and I was not going to leave until I knew precisely what; I don't like trespassers in my territory. It only takes me a moment to deduce that the creature that had been here was a raccoon, and I immediately I snarled deeply. My breed is from the south, and down there, dogs and 'coons are enemies. You see a coon; you tree it. My pa had been able to climb trees after the over-sized rodents; some catahoulas are blessed with that little talent. Not me. I'm grounded.
I pull myself away from the raccoon's scent reluctantly; I strongly wished to pursue the little devil, but it was gone hours ago, and the boss-dog was calling. I walk much slower than most dogs; I can tell from the sound of their pawsteps; but I assure you, it's not ineptitude that slows me. I'm a steady beast by nature, and my pace comes half from not being able to see anything but a wall of nothing, and half from the belief that there's really no reason to rush. The way I see it, Lithium will still be there no matter if I get to him in the time it takes to wag my tail, or in the time it takes for the Heat to fade into Cool. I amble along, not picking up my pace at all, but not dawdling either; I'm never in a rush, but I don't care to waste time, either. My paws follow the hard, hot surface that other dogs call "concrete"; it's rough, and often cracked, but it's flat and not the most uncomfortable thing I've walked on. I inch my body steadily to the right, and feel my ribcage connect lightly with searing upright bars that create a thing called a fence. I hate fences; they block my already limited way, and I've cut my face more than once by colliding with one.
I walk with my side grazing along the bars until finally, they vanish, and I know I've come to the opening to the car lot. Turning into it, my paws feel dirt instead of concrete, and my tail wags; dirt is rarely as hot as concrete. I follow the scent of gathering dogs, and grunt as my skull hits a car; the sound is like a muffled smack, and the skin stings a bit. I shook myself irritably, and sidestep away from the car before moving on; I don't hit any cars after that, but the sore spot still stings, and my mood is a bit sour. Finally, the scent of dog is so strong, I know I've found them, and I sniff the air quietly. Two pups and two adult males; the far one is the alpha, Lithium, and the other three I cannot name. I lick my lips quietly and nod my head in the general direction of the group. My cloudy eyes gape at them sightlessly, but my ears swivel with life.
"Good day, all. The name is Little Miss Suicide."

Vesta "Your name is flashing on a sign The light is shining on you Everything grows quiet The spotlight is on you Welcome, to Broadway"
There was a soft breeze that was aroused from the spring air. Everything was quiet where the redheaded vixen was perched. The warm spring air was always such a comfort, and pushed along the sides of the femme. Bringing the scents of exotic flowers, and with those that she was familiar with. There was everything from Rose, to the Poppy. Even the fair scent of Lilac was in it. Spring had to be one of the greatest time of year. Everything was warm, and comforting. Everything was so peaceful and serene at this time of year, at least, for some of the dogs out there. But Vesta was of course, out making trouble for herself in the streets of Mois Aries. The young tramp was making her way along an alley way the the faint sound of a howl reached her auds. She knew that howl all to well. It was Lithium's, her dearest pack leader. And did she mention that he was quite the cutie? But a thought like that seemed to run through the mind of this tramp an awful lot. But why denie it? She gave herself a light giggle at the thought, and headed to wards the parking lot. Which, wasn't hard for her to pin-point that, that was where the howl was coming from. Her steps were light footed, and harder to hear than most. Her curled tail flicked back and forth as she made her way along the pavement. Her misty blue eyes peered out ahead as she was heading around the corner to the parking lot. It was out of used, or at least that was what she thought, so the pack had been using the area as a central point. She rounded the corner, and caught sight of the brute perched on a car. She made her way over to the hood of the car. "Lithium . . ." She said with a slight dip. Her voice rang out in an angelic tone, as is always seemed to. But it almost seemed like a bell chiming. She moved off to the side, and perched herself on the hood of an older silver, Chevy truck. She paused, and waited to hear why their Alpha had called them together. Decode This place used to gleam, I see it in my hopeful dreams Now i have to get away. We move towards the stars, and all that we touch becomes ours, lets keep warm till it's day. Toffee coloured paws made their way slowly across the cement, the owner being careful and tentative as she walked in a low stance, exploring her new home. A mixture of ebony and light brown auds were flickering in every direction, searching for any noise that she could investigate. Deep chocolate coloured optics were wide and wary as the doberman cross made her way through the dim street. This area was new to the five year old female, only recently had she joined this pack and their land. In her mysterious mind she knew she would do well here, but she would have some fun along the way. Being quite a flirt and a tease, Decode was looking for some fun with a male. Perhaps he would end up being the one for her? Who knew. Only time would tell for the pretty creature.
It had been quite some time since the female had had a rest, and her graceful steps soon became weary and sluggish. Dark optics began to droop as she persisted her travels, hopeful to find someone. Despite rarely speaking and keeping her mysterious aura about her, Dee did enjoy being in the company of others. Afterall, she wasn't the strongest of all the dogs in the city and she liked feeling safe. Soon the female was practically walking in her sleep when an eerie howl floated on the breeze and reached her perked auds. Snapping her head up immediatly, the doberman turned her head in every direction, searching for where it had come from. Assuming it was the used car lot, she had passed by there not too long ago, Decode spun round and bounded off towards the noise. Lithium. She had yet to meet the alpha properly, and apparantly now was the time.
After quite a few minutes of travelling, the graceful creature slowed her gait to a gentle trot as she entered the old car lot. Spotting what was clearly Lithium sitting his strong body upon a Toyota, surrounded by a few other dogs. Two appeared to be mere pups as they sat on their own cars, followed by a male and two females. Surprisingly, Dee spotted her favourite car not too far from where Lithium was facing. Odd that it was here, but she found an Audi R8 and happily bounded up to it. With a graceful leap, the female sat on the roof of the gorgeous car and layed her rump upon it. Dipping her crania in respect to Lithium, she sat silently, waiting for any others to appear.

Rex " Won't go without my fix tonight It's a little too rough Prom girl wipes her tears with silver lines And she can`t get enough " Yellow lab snuck his way through the undergrowth, each step slow, painfully slow, yet silent. The bushes did not rustle more than they would if there was a ight breeze, twigs did not snap under his thick, toned muscles. His whole frame was low, his belly brushed the floor of the forest occasionally, and his crania tickled the undergrowth. It was near impossible to see him, unless you knew what you were looking for, nothing could be seen but light patches of his golden coat, which appeared as spring flowers, tucked away beneath the bushes. But he would not be able to hide away for ever. The Dominix pack leader had chosen its meeting place carefully and cleverly, but that did not mean Rex was stumped. By all means, a car parking lot gave a lot of shelter and hiding places.
Rex had a plan, and a good one at that. He was sure that if he just turned up into the open, they would turf him out, despite any plee's that he were not a spy, yet if he hid, kept himself well hiden until any moment he were found, he could easily give the impression of a ghost. He did not need to be able to see the leader to hear, in fact, he could still be at the near entrance to the lot, and not need to go much further. If he were found, he would plea that he were a Dominix, new to the area, and if that failed, he would fight off as many as possible, then leg it. Rex was not stupid, he were a Mafia, second in command, and he had a job to do.
He paused now, at the edge of the bushes, right next to a large van that luckily, still had most of it's doors but no windows. Perfect for now. Rex stopped lower than ever, almost lying on the floor, and yet, he were coiled to spring, his optics focused first on the pack, there were seven of them, including the pack leader, three males, four females. Rex analysed each pack member, as he always did before speaking or fully meeting them. Even a dog in the street he would analyse, why? many would ask this, but Rex knew it was better to find their strengths and weaknesses now, than when they were circling him. He noticed that one male and one female were pups, which already only left five dogs, not too hard, yet they could still leave him half-dead if he didn't escape in time. Rex didn't alwas count females, not that he underestimated them, but more that he had always found males a much harder fight, well, some of them, which meant there would only be two great fighters.
His emerald optics slid over each canine indiviulaly, then, knowing each obvious weakness and strength in the pack members, he bunched up his haunches. Now was most dangerous, if he was seen hopping into the van, all would already be over. He sprang, a fast jump that caused him to fly low through the air and straight through the open space were the van window should've been. He landed lithly upon the cool leather seat and dropped down, breathing silently for several minutes and hearing nothing but silence. Good. He crawled forwards on his belly untill he was up against the other door, and pressed himself up against it, peeping up darkly, nothing but his optics and the top of his ehad showed. He noticed nothing unusual for now, for the van had been facing away from the others, right up next to the bushes, still covered by a half dead tree, but Rex still took precaucions. He ducked down once more and cocked his crania, audits tilted up toward the pack meeting, but still hidden so he could hear, but not be seen. He lay casually upon the upholstery, yet each msucle were tense, ready in case he needed to move fast. He would have the upper hand, in both skill and timing, for he was far away from the meeting that he could easily sip out the window and into the gathering darkness before the others could get close enough to strike. Yet if he were cornered, he would have enough skill to manage to get otu alive. He hoped.
----------------------------------------------------------------
muse:: average Satus:: finnished Comments:: okay, i dunno if this is allowed or not, but Rex is second in command for the mafia, and its his job to find out about the other packs, so i thought he could sneak into a pack meeting, but i duno if this is allowed. So i've posted, but if its not allowed, then i'll delete the post.

Lithium nodded as his pack gathered around him. He dipped his crown in acklowledgement and began speaking to the group that had gathered around him.
"Hello my lovely pack," he called, his voice strong and clear. "I've called you all here for a special reason. Today, I will be giving some ranks out as well as special jobs. Now, if you have a problem with your rank, well, I'm sure you won't. Now, many of you females are probably wondering about the lead. I have not come to a decision about that yet, until I see who deserves it and who will be willing to take on that responsibility. As for the other ranks , here is where I stand," he spoke and turned his eyes onto Little Miss Suicide
"Suicide, Ive decided to make you the Beta female," Lithium said. "Your job will be making sure the pack runs smoothly and there are no problems in it. Rex, you will be the beta male. You have the same job as Suicide, however, I will give you slight authority to weed any unwanted problems out. If you cannot handle the problem you are to come to me at once. Thrysyn, you are our pack guard. Your job is to patrol and to make sure we dont have any tresspassers. If there are, you have the authority to kill them on the spot. Gwen and Serene, since you are pups, you will be kept an eye on."
He puffed his chest out and took a breath, surveying each canine that sat before him. He knew he didn't say two names yet -Vesta and Decode. They were in the running for lead. He smirked as he continued again.
"As for Vesta and Decode, you two lovely ladies, you are contenders for lead. I shall hope to get to know you both very well. Thrysyn, you're job is also to find these pups a nanny. Whether or not willing or unwilling. Does this clarify everyone? Have I left someone out?" he called and waited.

A bark and a muffled scream echoed throughout the large car lot. Then it was silent, nothing was appearantly wrong and it looks as though nothing had changed. Rambo bit down harder until he heard several simultanious and rhythmic snaps from bones breaking, shattering under the sheer power of his jaws. He unlocked the locked maw, letting it hid thr ground with a soft 'thud'. Rambo heard the bark a while ago, and knew it was Lithium. Who else could it be? Rambo had followed him back to this place, presumed to be their base. It was sheltered, nice, 'cozy' Rambo guessed with a small laugh. If there was a fight here, Lithium's pack would win no matter how many enemies. The seemingly endless lot of cars made a maze anyone could easily get lost in if they didn't know the territory. Rambo obviously wasn't an expert on the area but he kept on track with the scent of several dogs. He was near the pack, very near.
Rambo wondered why they hadn't come to see who he was or what the scream was about. Probably too muffled, he caught the sleeping bastard Infected right in the throat, hardly had the chance. Poor guy probably didn't know who owned this place. Oh well, unlucky him, right? No, no, he was lucky. Rambo was being nice, not torturing him, making him watch his own death slowly and painfully. As wonderful as it sounded Rambo just didn't have the time to play around with his kills, he was here to meet with Lithium and the rest of his pack. Possibly, even ally or maybe Rambo would join. That all depended, however, on the moral values of the pack and Lithium himself. Rambo wanted the Humans back, if they didn't, Rambo might be in trouble. Whoops.
He approached an opening between an old truck and a rusted Kia Optima, dragging the body as he went. When he was through, which was a bit of a struggle for his body size and the easily one hundred and eighty pound male Infected. He dropped the body on the ground, jagged bone still portruding from his ragged and torn skin, blood dripping slightly from the wounds still after death. "So much for Security, Lithium." Rambo smiled, walking slowly toward the pack. There weren't as many as expected but the males looked dangerous enough to probably hold their own out in the streets. Probably. A smile played across his face as he approached the car Lithium was sitting on. "Nice place you got here, real...'cozy'? I guess? Heh. Not very subtle though, I did follow you here from the theater. I figured if you were planning an attack," Rambo paused to look at the rest of the pack, then sat down, "...you might need me."
