Axel You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. A sharp set of black claws made gentle clicking noises as they hit the tarmac in a smooth rhythm. Waves of heat radiated from the man-made road as the midday sun beat down upon it, distorting anything that was on it's trail. Dotted along the dark track were several cars, rusted and battered after so many days of enduring the elements of the earth. The worn down cars were acting as radiators themselves, emitting strong waves of heat as they burnt in the daylight. One would almost expect them to melt into a pool of liquid metal as the day wore on.
The gentle noise of claws continued to grow louder as a disfigured shape began to become clearer with every passing second. The white shape, distorted by the heat, slowly formed into the strong shape of a dog. Clearly a dalmation by the classic black spots in contrast to the pearly white body. The animal held his head high upon his tensed neck, his step was elegant and strong while his tail was curled slightly above his hind legs. This creature seemed apparantly unfased by the pure strength of the sun as his tender pads hit the boiling ground.
A wide, salmon pink tongue dropped out to hang between the sharp white fangs over his lower jaw. Panting slightly, like any dog would, in the heat of the day, Axel passed by a few cars along his journey. But one seemed to catch his attention, and he didn't know why. With a quick shrug to himself he bounded over to the pure black car that quivered in the light. Leaping onto the bonnet with ease, he lowered his head and peered through the windscreen at the inside. A smirk fell upon his maw at the sight of humans. Dead humans. They got exactly what they deserved in Axel's opinion. If it were up to him, he would rip every pathetic human still alive into a million pieces. Damn things didn't deserve to live anymore. Ebony black optics narrowed as they focused on a small crack in the windscreen. Barking out a laugh, Axel bounded off the car and onto the side of the road. Lowering his strong head he picked up a sharp rock in his jaws before snapping his head back up and tossing the piece of earth onto the glass of the car. With a loud crashing sound, the glass shattered and dropped all around the car and it's inside. Bounding back onto the bonnet, careful to avoid any shards of glass, Axel pushed his head through the gap in the car. Nostrils twitching as they scented the rotting flesh, a grin slid onto his face at the sight. "Pathetic. They always were." He laughed to himself, his lust for violence almost overwhelming. But those dark twisted thoughts soon got the better of him. Quick as a flash, his fangs had closed around the adult male's neck and torn the head clean off. As the head fell to it's lap, Axel grabbed it in his jaw, flicked his head and tossed it out of the car behind him. Leaping from the vehicle, he landed on the head and dug his sharp claws into it, tearing the wretched thing apart. As old blood began to stain his white paws, Axel stopped and snapped his head up, had he heard something?

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life, And realize there's nothing left.
[/i][/size]
Finally. Food. Angel laid against the ground staring at the lone cow grazing a few yards away. She was downwind so the cow wouldn't smell her. It wasn't full mature. About a year or two old but it held enough meat on its body to be a feast for Angel. She licked her lips at the sight of it every inch of her body screaming for the kill. She slowly crawled forwards until she had no choice but to run. At that point she bolted like a cheetah, kicking up dirt in her wake and within moments she had pounced. The cow hadn't seen her until it was too late and the claws were piercing through the hide of the cow. Digging her claws into the neck of the beast Angel then calculated which way was easier for her - suffocate through the neck or the muzzle. The cow was bucking beneath her so deciding it probably wasn't best to waste time thinking she stretched her head out and clamped down on the cow's muzzle. Her teeth sunk through the flesh blocking the air supply to the nostrils and mouth.
Her claws stayed dug into the cow's hide for grip. Before long she felt the cow weaken and within seconds it had collapsed to the ground forcing Angel to jump off it as it fell onto its side. It was dead. Her first good meal all on her own. A cow any bigger and Angel wouldn't have been able to bring it down. She would need a pack for anything bigger but this... this was perfect for just her. Within moments Angel was ripping into the cow's stomach with her teeth and claws. It was a massacre to innocent eyes. She swallowed every piece of meat there was, and what she couldn't eat ended up just being bone so she just chewed on that for the nutrients within it. There was nothing left but the skelton of the animal after ten minutes. Then again some vultures had come down to finish it off properly so she had actually had help. Still, Angel was full, and she was happy because of it.
Her big wet tongue ran along the length of her paw before she rubbed it behind her ear. Pressing her muzzle to her chest she began licking the bottom of her chest as she laid upon the ground. However as she did so she began smelling another scent - a dog. Lifting her head she immediately became a lot more alert. In this desert heat on this abandoned road Angel had thought she would for sure get some peace. Obviously she had been wrong. Standing up she soon noticed the spotted male and instantly began growling viciously towards him. She was fed now. Sure, a nap would be better before a fight but she had more strength now so she could put up a hell of a fight if needed. Plus, it seemed as if she could take this spotty dog on anyway. He seemed smaller in stature from where she was stood. An easy target. It would be good to exercise her fighting skill...
"Step any closer dog and i'll tear you limb from limb."[/i] [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Axel You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. Nostrils twitching as he scented the air, Axel's ebony optics came to rest on the figure of an animal, wavering in the heat off the human made track. Focusing his dark eyes, he came to realise the creature in the distance was a dog of some sort, or a wolf? No, it was deffinetly a wolf, or so the animal thought. The scent seemed to certify his thoughts as she she-wolfs lyrics reached his auds, "Step any closer dog and I'll tear you limb from limb." As Axel took in her stupid words, he let out a short bark of laughter and spoke back to the fool.
"What is the reason for such uncalled for and unnecessary violence, dear? It was not I that approached you, nor did you approach me. Were we not both simply enjoying our selves, solitary and alone in peace?"
All the while that he spoke, a lopsided smirk was plastered upon the blood stained lips of the dalmation. The wolf had clearly threatened him for no reason, Stupid creature. he thought silently, watching the she-wolf that stood at a distance. Realising he still had his paws tensed around the human skull, Axel retracted those sharp claws and pushed the object away in disgust. Humans were truely foul things, but any form of blood was fun to spill. Lifting his dark optics back to watch the creature, a thousand dark thoughts ran through his head at the many possible games he could play with her. And the fighting. If need be, Axel was not afraid to fight this young fool. He was indeed strong, like all dalmations he had stong muscles that showed beneath his slender shape, but he was built for speed. Simple as. Axel was a skilled fighter, using his outstanding speed and wit, even the opponents strength to his own advantage. He certainly didn't have time for such petty confrontations with such ridiculously stupid creatures. As these thoughts ran through his mind, Axel kept a calm facade, revealing nothing to the wretched creature before him.

"One, don't call me dear. I may be a female but that kind of talk is saved for my mate only. If you have to call me something then call me bitch, and two, I don't like being in the vicinity of a dog. The whole lot of you are filthy, disgusting, and a poor excuse for a relation to a wolf."[/i] At that point Angel couldn't help but stand up tall and proud puffing out her chest. She made sure she looked as regal and majestic as possible. After all she had to rub in the fact she was a wolf, and he was just a dog. Not a very big, muscular powerhouse type breed either. Angel had to admit, the bigger and more muscle on the male the better. She liked a big wolf, one that could intimidate just by his size alone - like a rottweiler or a newfoundland. The sleeker breeds like Greyhounds and Dalmations didn't do all that much for her. Hell, they did nothing - so did every dog - but if she did ever take a liking to a dog - which she was determined not to let happen - then it would have to be a big breed. That was for certain. He of course had to have a physical prescene, and a personality that made her want to submit. The kind of personality that was perhaps unpredictable, and definately could be vicious. That way he could make her feel like he could take her anytime he wanted without her consent which for some reason really did something to the wolfess. "I came here to get away from the likes of you dogs. You just seem to continually hound me. I'm not in season, and even if I was I wouldn't let a single one of you mount me even if I was dying in agony."[/i] She snarled, making it absolutely crystal clear she didn't like dogs one bit. What could she say? She was a passionate little thing, and until her mind was changed on dogs she would see them as she was. Besides, the more she was backed into a corner the more vicious she would get. She was only at stage two of her viciousity so far which was relatively weak in her stages. However, if the encouragement and fuel for her anger kept coming she would raise the stakes. Angel would have no problem with that and upon analysing the dog before her she guessed size wize she could easily take him. Then again she hadn't seen his fighting style yet. He was built for speed, so if he was a good fighter he could be an equal match. There was always that possibility but she wasn't going to make a dog sound like a worthy opponent until she had solid proof he was. After all, they were lower in hierachy to her in her opinion. Axel You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. Ebony optics rolled in impatience as Axel listened to the foolish she-wolf. Her words were quite ridiculous considering her possible age, one would have thought she would have a little more common sense to her. But apparantly not. Axel's mind was mocking as he listened to the wolf before him.
"Not every creature you come across wants you. My use of 'dear' was simply joking and by no means was I hinting. Goodness no." His words appeared to be affected by his mind as they came out mocking, harsh laughter breaking from his maw.
"If you seem to hate us dogs so much, seeing as you think you are so mighty and powerful, why are you even bothering to live amongst the dogs? Why not find yourself a pack with your fellow kind. I for one have never been a fan of the wolf species anyway, we dogs have been bred apparantly from you wild animals seeing as your wreckless personalities and appearances were not suitable for the humans." That same lopsided smirk had shown itself upon his maw once again as he continued his stream of casual insults.
"Don't get me wrong, I despise the humans. But goodness they did a good job on creating the majority of us dogs. Can't you wolves see that you are not wanted? Hmm... apparantly not." Throughout this little speech of anger and hatred towards much in the world, Axel kept his facade calm, cool and collected. No use wasting energy on this idiotic animal. This large use of words was uncommon to the dalmation, he usually stayed quiet and listened to others, all the while analysing them. Yet, this time he felt he needed to speak out and let this foolish creature know about the truth of the supposedly mighty wolf world. As the she-wolf snarled at him, Axel simply raised an eyebrow and rolled his slender but muscular shoulders. She clearly didn't like dogs, and Axel didn't like wolves. What a situation.

Even though she didn't care what dogs felt, she was slightly annoyed - she wasn't sure she'd exactly say offended - when the male made it clear he didn't want her. It wasn't as if she wanted him to want her... Well, perhaps she did, but only so she could rub it in his face he couldn't have her. After all every female did want to be wanted. She refused to let what she was feeling show however. As far as he would know she didn't care even though deep down she did a tiny bit. This male was definately infuriating her. So much so that she was tempted to just lunge at him now and tear the windpipe out of his throat. Unfortunately Angel was doing her best to keep herself from fighting. She had to stay where she was. If this moron was a part of a pack the last thing she needed was five or more dogs coming down on her for his death. She could manage one, perhaps two, three if she was lucky but more then that and she would be doomed.
"Not that is any of your business mongrel, but I am looking for a wolf pack. The only reason I have stayed around here more then an hour is because I needed a good meal. Now I have that I can put this filthy city and its lower then rats inhabitants behind me - for good."[/i] There. That was better. She felt so much better having insulted the dalmation back. This male was certainly getting under her skin. If she wasn't so scared of dying then she would have been reckless and gone for his throat. As it was, seeing her pack die all around her she had begun to realise just how alone she was now. She would hold herself back for now but once she found a pack she could be her old, wild, passionate self again - completely. Not three quarters of herself as she was being right now. She may even come back with her future pack just to slaughter this dalmation just for the hell of it. God, that would be a precious moment. She could even have pups and get them to kill him instead. That would be even better. Angel did want pups. First however she had to find a pack and a mate which meant her search for wolves would continue. Only a muscular wolf would do. With a shake of her head she stood up letting her body relax a little as she looked away from the dog. If she stayed tense too long it started to make her ache and after devouring such a large meal it would just give her a bad stomach ache. A sleep was needed but with this dog so close she couldn't guarantee she would wake up unharmed. All she could do was stand there and glare the dog down. Hopefully he would walk away and she could get a good nap in. [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Axel You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. Axel sat with his face completely serious, nothing showing in his ebony optics and his maw unmoving. The only sign of movement upon his facade was the slight movement of his glistening nostrils as they inhaled and exhaled. He was trying to read the creature that stood a short distance away, his experienced eyes searching for any form of emotion that tried to force it's way onto her face. For a split second he thought he saw annoyance, or hurt? But before he could decide, it had disappeared just as quickly as it had come and left behind an equally calm face. When the she-wolf had returned the insult, seeming really quite proud of herself, Axel simply raised his eyebrow again. But he struggled to fight back the snort of laughter that escaped as he spoke.
"My my, quite a temper you have there. You should really learn to keep it under control or it could get you into alot of trouble." Despite the slight emphasis on 'alot', Axel's voice sounded a little bored. To be quite frank, he was bored of this creatures ways. She had no control over her temper, letting her thoughts of dogs rule her mind and actions. Only foolish creatures could not control their anger. He found creatures that thought they were better than everyone else were just ridiculously arrogant. And they did not deserve life. Sighing slightly out of boredom, Axel continued to find flaws in her petty excuses.
"I wasn't particularly interested in your future life plans, more as simply why you are bringing your apparant royalty to a place that you despise. I still find it odd how you came here to find food, seeing as it is clearly a long way from your ideal destination." He gave a simple shrug, "I can only advise you to get out while you can, wolf." He couldn't resist but spit out the final word.
Axel turned his head slightly to one side as his dark eyes took a quick glance behind him at the foul human head he had devoured before this encounter. He soon turned it back to face the female before lifting his stained front paw and licking the dried blood off of it. He waited for any form of reply from the creature as he groomed himself. Axel would not be the first to leave. He was here first and if this animal wanted to leave this place so much, she would have to be the first to do so. Finishing his washing session, he lifted his black optics back to hers and sat waiting, maybe even challenging her to leave first.

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life, And realize there's nothing left.

Was that a threat? Did that pup just threaten her?! It was an outrage. How dare he?! As if she was some kind of juvenile punk that was ignorant and did not know the ways of life. He was just begging for a good ass kicking wasn't he?! She had been an alpha female in her pack! The top dog. She had been the only one allowed to breed since in wolf society only the alpha female and alpha male were allowed to reproduce. She had been the top of the wolf ladder. There was no way up from where she had been, and here she was being threatened by a dog that saw as nothing more then a juvenile and deluded punk. If her late mate had heard this then the dalmation would be dead by now. Then again if her mate was still alive she wouldn't be here, would she? She would be home. God, she missed home, and her pack. Stupid humans. She'd kill every single last one of them if there had been any left after the 'apocolypse'.
"You vile dog! How dare you talk to me like that! You know nothing about me. I was the alpha female of my pack! I was the best damn lead there ever was. I could run rings around you and you other dogs. Apologise to me, at once!"[/i] With that she slammed her front right paw down as if to make it clear she was serious. She would not take this kind of insobordination. This was outrageous. How dare he?! Did he think he was god or something?! He definately wasn't god. God would be a strapping, muscular, handsome, and devilishly charming wolf. Not this scrawny egotistical dalmation. Angel didn't think she had ever felt this outraged before. She felt so angry she had no idea what to do first - tear him apart or try to keep herself held back. After all did she want an entire pack - if he belonged to one - to come after her? No. She would not be able to defend herself. However this dog... he would be worth it. To kill him... to have a pack hound her ass... it would be so worth it to see the fear in his eyes as she choked his last breath out of him. That would be so delicious and that thought was the only thing stopping her from going absolutely ape. She hated how he was grooming himself as if she wasn't a threat. She would be his worst nightmare if he didn't show her some respect! Angel growled deeply in annoyance and before long started pacing up and down within a three stride distance. She kept turning as soon as she got three strides and went back on herself turning at the same point again. She had to walk. She had to pace. She was so furious. Sure, she looked calm on the outside but the fact she was pacing was showing she was at least agitated. If that cow wasn't dead Angel would have enough fury to tear that thing apart again. She needed an outlet. Fast. Some way to let out all this rage otherwise she was going to go on a killing spree she wouldn't be too proud of. [/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Axel You had to have it all, Well have you had enough? You greedy little bastard, You will get what you deserve. A dark shadow seemed to form behind Axel's already ebony black optics as he watched the ridiulous animal get herself all worked up. This wolf thought she was so purebred and perfect, the idiotic creature had no idea she was clearly a half breed. Continuing to analyse her with his eyes, Axel realised this stupid mutt thought very highly of herself as she screamed her angry words at him. Slamming her oaf-ish paw down against the still burning tarmac, it reminded the dalmation of the overwhelming heat that surrounded them. Why was he simply standing here in this blistering sunlight in a confrontation with one of the dumbest creatures he'd ever come across, when he could happily be exploring the land with or without his pack. It was about time Axel let this half-breed know what she was getting her idiotic self into. It had to end now.
"No. I will not apologise. You pathetic little half-breed, thinking you're so majestic and powerful. All you are is naive and weak-minded. You don't seem to realise that power and strength does not just come from size and muscles, it's wit, cunning, speed and strength of mind you idiotic bitch. I don't think you realise that I am Axel, leader of the Mafia. Getting this sort of position, I am not able to be defeated by some pathetic creature that doesn't know anything about life in this city. If you're so wild an proud, then fuck off back to your own useless kind in the wild. We dogs don't have time to waste with kinds such as you, there is much more important business to take care of. I refuse to waste anymore time on such a ridiculous asshole." Axel's stream of insults flowed effortlessly from his tongue as he spoke calm and collected. But every single note that escaped his maw had a deathly edge to it that showed he meant business, and he was not to be messed with.
With that, Axel glared at her for a moment before turning his back on that idiot and began to pad off back along the way he had come from. With a slight smirk on his face, Axel turned his head to look at the little fucker as he walked, "And don't you dare ever come into my territory. Believe me, it'll be the last thing you ever do." As he spat out his last words, he turned back his slender head and continued to walk away. Only moments later, the waves of heat radiating off the road had engulfed his beautiful shape. Soon, he was gone. Leaving the so called wolf standing in her place.

Pathetic. Half-breed. Niave. Weak-minded. Idoitic. Pathetic creature. Useless kind. Ridiculous asshole. Death threat. Insults. Threats. Every word stuck inside her mind fueling her anger. R I P. H I M. A P A R T. Those three words ran round and round inside her head bringing out a growl from her that sounded like thunder. Angel didn't give a damn if he was the alpha male of a pack. Hell, she didn't even give a damn about his pack. However for some reason she didn't go after him but kept herself held back. It wasn't that she was afraid in the slightest. No. She was going to get her revenge. Only she was going to think about it long and hard. She was going to make it count and he would rue the day he ever met her. She would not be an angel for him. She was going to be his worst nightmare. She was going to make him pay in every single damn way. He would apologise. Oh, he would. She would make him.
She glared coldly at him until he disappeared. Her claws dug at the soil for a moment before she forced herself to move. Growling again she turned round and began stalking the other way. She needed to find a safe place to think about her revenge.
