As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life, And realize there's nothing left.

There it was - one familiar scent. A rumble creeped up her throat, building up like thunder in a wild storm and yet she didn't let it escape just yet. Instead she stalked through the long grass as silent as possible keeping her nose to the ground as she followed the scent. If the prey was still here then she had to be quiet otherwise it would flee and after quite a few days of exploring these outskirts she had found herself becoming quite ravenous. It wasn't anything like home and she had found herself quite lost around here. Where were the deer and other wild animals she had gotten so used to being around? Sure, there were birds, mice and other familiar creatures but nothing she could quite sink her teeth into like a good stag. The rabbits were beginning to bore her, and although cattle were quite a big animal to bring down alone Angel was determined to get something substancial to eat.
Even though she was only half wolf her old pack had accepted her and in the end cherished her. Her mother had been lucky. She was the wolf in Angel, and during an bit of anarchy in the pack when their old alpha male had died Angel's mother had mated with a siberian husky - a pet. A rancher's dog. It had been humilating for the pack when it was found out, but since there was no alpha male at the time to prevent the mating her mother had been forgiven. Months later Angel and her four other siblings had been born. Unfortunately as it worked out, just months ago, her whole pack had been demolished. Still, the point of this little history lesson was that Angel had been raised entirely as a wolf and knew next to nothing about her husky side or its pedigree's history. She didn't know how to be a dog, and so she hunted for her food like the predator she was. She didn't raid dustbins, or eat from bowls like a housepet. All of that was foreign to her.
Her claws slid out of her snow coloured paws as she drew ever closer. Angel drew back her lips letting her pearly white fangs be seen as she slowly peeked up from the long grass. She couldn't see any cattle. Just an abandoned farm and the smell of cattle that must have once been here. Standing up erect she growled in annoyance letting her ears go back as she trotted towards the fenceline. The cattle must have gone somewhere. She would follow their scent, find where they went, and take one down. That was all there was to it. Lifting up on her hindlegs she put her front paws on the top of the fencing and began sniffing the wooden board for a moment. Her attention soon left tracking the cattle as she heard something. Her head turned, ears flicking around as she tilted her nose up to sniff the scents on the breeze. There was a dog around here. A deep growl left her lips then, the memory of when Karling died flashing through her mind as she dropped down onto all fours.
Perhaps it was a little prejudice of her to just blame all dogs for Karling's death and not just the trio of german shepards but she couldn't change her opinion now. After all, she had not been proven wrong that dogs were the unwelcome relation of wolf kind. Still, there could still be chance to change her opinion of them. Every muscle in her body rippled under her soft snow white fur which had a few grey hairs scattered here and there. She wasn't looking at her peak form, and was slightly malnourished, but for being on her own since she was naturally a pack animal she was doing pretty well. She could still give a dog or wolf a good fight for their money but she would most likely lose in the end. Still, she could intimidate which often did the trick of scaring off opposers anyway.
"Who's there?"

Lithiums paws bounced as he headed onto the Morrigan farm. Twin harks were pricked, acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. His blue eyes were locked a head of him , scanning around for any movement. His lower jaw was dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom canines as he panted. Above him, the sun blazed out from behind a few fluffy white clouds. There were a few birds flapping their wings in the horizon but Lithium couldn't help but feel good. He smirked and pressed on ward. His paws sank into the dirt, leaving perfect impressions behind.
The grass tickled his ankles as he moved across the paddocks. Before him, the farm building loomed like some kind of monster huddling in the corner. As he approached, he could smell the remnants of old hay, leather, and horse, among the human scent. He wrinkled his nose at the last scent but slipped into the barn. He immediately sensed that it was empty, so he decided to try around back. There had been a small shed there, which was just off of the main farm house. Lithium gently padded around and the wind brought him the scent of a female too. Curiosity got the better of him and he followed it.
He eventually came upon an ivory vixen not too far off. He approached her and planted his rump down on the ground, forelegs coming around to the front of his chest, keeping his upper body erect. His blue eyes were locked on her as he began speakign .
"Hello there lovely. What brings you out here?" he inquired curiously. He kept his body posture erect but not threatening. He would never attack a female unless she started the brawl. He had no qualms about killing a fae but only if she absolutely deserved it. But Lithium shook his head, clearing these thoughts away. There was no reason to behave like that now. He would wait and see how she behaved toward him. Both ears were cocked toward her, eagerly but impatiently waiting her response. While he was impatient, he wouldn't show it. He always had a good poker face when it came to these types of things. Lithium could act a certain way then turn around and BAM stab someone in the back without a second thought. He waited.

Lovely? Was he serious? Angel paused for a moment to assess the male. Probably good looking for a dog she supposed. Looked rather strong and muscular. Could be a threat if they fought and he seemed to know his way around from the way he had walked round the large farm building. He could know where the cattle went. He seemed old enough to know. It was probably not best to start a fight with this particular male right off the bat although she would keep her guard up and she wouldn't let him off that easy either. Angel did her best to keep the growl within her throat to stay there and not come out from her lips. She stayed stood, keeping herself tall and she was doing it deliberately. After all, she still felt in her heart she was the dominant one, although she had been submissive to her past mate, and she definately felt she was of a higher standing then a dog. She would not be like the dog females and submit to him, lay on her back and be a good little pup.
"Not that it is any dog's business but I was looking for the cattle that was once here. You seen them dog or were you too busy laying by the fire?" A smirk was present upon her lips at her little comment. What could she say? It felt rather good to torment dogs verbally. Although it would be far better to really wipe the dogs off the face of the earth. She would settle for her single comment though. It was enough to amuse her for now. Angel could smell his scent better now since he was closer although she would prefer to keep a decent amount of distance between her and the dog. Whilst being raised as a wolf there was one thing she had noticed. Her paws had always been bigger then a wolf's, and her form had usually been different to theirs. A bit more built, and her fur was longer too. Glancing down at the dog's paws she saw a similarity in them. As usual her curiousity got the better of her. Even though she looked all wolf her mother had told her once that her father had not been of their pack. Her mother had never said anything more then that but Angel had always wondered what her father had been. She had just assumed he had been a rogue wolf. Slowly she walked over, giving the dog a wide birth of course, and then approached him once she was behind him. She moved silently and slowly came up beside him although her ears were back. You could tell she was ready to bolt or pounce in a second by the way her muscles were tensed up. Angel didn't trust dogs one bit but she just had to see if their paws were really as similiar as they had appeared at a distance. Stood with her head level to his rump she stretched out her front right paw to put it parallel to his front paw. They were similiar. His was a little larger then hers of course, but there was definately something there. Had her mother mated with a dog? Please no. That would just be humilating. Withdrawing her paw sharpish she backed away a bit before snarling towards the male dog. "What breed are you?"There was only a few breeds located in the area she had come from. If he wasn't one of them then it was just a coincidence and she was all wolf. If he was... then she was basically screwed. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lithiums' hackles raised and he took a deep breath at her words. He began responding.
"Well, I must say , lying by the fire is much easier than what you'd be doing. I dont know how you walk around with that stick sticking out of your ass," he shot back at her.
Lithium was able to use words harshlly and bluntly. He'd outwitted several dogs by using words. He was crude at some points too. So this bitch better whatch her step around him. While he never forced a female to be submissive, he did demand that she respect him. He didn't think that was much to ask of a female. For the most part she would be allowed to roam where ever she wanted, do whatever she wanted but she had to respect him and his leadership. If that was a problem, she could leave and drop off the face of the earth for all he gave a shit. His blue eyes were locked on hers as he responded.
"If its any of your business, I am a husky," he spoke, turning the tables back on her. He kept his body posture rigid and business like. This female didn't know him very well but he figured she'd soon find out. Lithium was not some male that could be pushed over by some little bitch. No. And yes he was a dog. She was probably part dog too. So in reality she was insulting herself. Lithium almost chuckled at that. So retarded. She acts tough but she's really ignorant he thought and waited for her to speak again. Hopefully she'll learn now that he wasnt one to be messed with in any sense.

There was a stick coming out of her ass? As niave as she was Angel actually turned her head round to check. There wasn't a stick coming out of her ass. That must mean he just called her uptight. She was not uptight! Turning her head back to look at him she growled a little louder this time letting him get a good look at her teeth as she lowered her head. He was quite the dominant little dog wasn't he? Okay, so he was a bit taller then her, but that was expected of males. He had nice ice blue eyes. What was she saying? She growled again only this time at herself and her stupid thought about his eyes.
"One, I am not uptight, and two, at least i'm not some poor excuse of a wolf relation." She hated admitting that dogs were a relation of the wolf but everyone could see and know it was true. They were very similiar. What was annoying Angel however at this moment was the fact this dog wasn't showing her, a wolf, the proper respect. From what she was raised by, and her incident with the german shepards, Angel had always been led to think that wolves were higher on the food chain then dogs. Therefore the dogs should submit to her. Yet this dog was being absolutely rude and vile. He was insisting on a fight it seemed and she would be happy to give it to him. When she had a meal in her belly of course. Right now, he'd win hands down probably even if she did put up a good fight. "Husky?" Oh damn it. Huskies were found where she had come from. She was not part dog. She couldn't be. Then again it would explain a lot. The comments from the other pack members. Especially when she overheard them growling at her mother when she had first given birth. Some had even continued to hold a grudge against her once the alphas had accepted the pups. She had overheard once calling her mother and her father dogs. She had just assumed it was just an insult. She couldn't be part dog... Could she? "I am not part dog." She growled under her breath clearly determined to cling onto her wolf heritage. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lithium smirked at her and raised a furry eyebrow at her.
"No you're just walking around with a stick in your ass for fashion purposes," he said in a mocking tone and then nodded when she said he was husky. Perhaps she'd never seen one like him before. Well that makes two of us he thought.
He smirked when she said that she wasn't a dog. He parted his violet lips and began speaking to her again.
"And I hate to break it to you, wolfie, but you but we are apart of the same gene pool. Surprise," he said laughing as he lowered his blue orbs to meet hers. For a wolf, she was pretty hot. Of course, Lithium had never met a wolf before, let alone part wolf. So if she can't admit that she's part dog, then she has one hell of a identity crisis.
A typical fruit loop he thought and chuckled to himself. Lithium spoke again.
"I find that hard to believe that you'd never encountered a husky before. There are more of us in the city than you know of" he said. "And by the way, my name is Lithium. I rule the Dominix pack"
There. That might make her think twice before she berates me again he thought. He shifted his weight again and let one ear cock back listening to the sounds of nature behind him. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his back molars as he panted ever so slightly. He would go about calling her 'hey you' if she didn't want to tell him her name. Like some females did. It was annoying to him and he hated it. How fucking hard was it to just say your name? he shook his head at this thought and waited for the she dog to speak again.

"Fashion purposes? You really are one deluded dog." Angel wasn't sure how else she could have responded. She probably could have yelled back but as she was beginning to figure out he would match her for whatever she threw at him. It seemed perhaps she had found her equal within the dog community. Still, she didn't have to like it. The white wolfess turned her head a moment to think. All the evidence was pointing to her being half husky and half wolf. Why hadn't she seen it sooner? Why hadn't she been told clearly? All the teasing... the way everything was harder for her within the wolf pack... it was all because she wasn't entirely wolf. She had been given a hard time and had to prove herself twice as much because they had looked down on her. No wonder it had taken her so long to actually become Alpha female in the first place. Now, she wouldn't be able to find another wolf pack. They wouldn't take in a half breed which left... the dogs. Either that or live on her own. She could live on her own. Angel had proved that so far. "I've seen huskies before. Back where I was born and raised. There was one that seemed to stalk the pack. A male. In the end the alpha male at the time killed him. I guess he must have been my sire... This sucks. Now I can't ever get into another wolf pack." She sighed deeply slowly lowering herself so that she was laid on the grass. Her legs tucked under her and her belly against the ground. Angel slowly lifted her head up as the dog mentioned his name and that he ruled one of the packs around here. No wonder he was so dominant. "I'm Angel. I was the alpha female at my old pack... before they were killed. I couldn't save them... I tried... but I failed. I'm the only one left. All my family... gone." Angel wasn't sure why she was opening up now and to Lithium but she guessed she just needed to get some things said. Whether it was to a door mouse or Lithium. She just had to say things so they would finally be real and true in her mind. She had been denying them and running from them for a while now. It wasn't healthy though and she needed to move on. Angel had to figure out what she would do next. She supposed she may have to find a dog pack to be a part of. She thrived in company so being alone wouldn't be the best permenant idea. Temporary it was fine however. Standing up she stretched her legs and body out before shaking a little. Yawning she padded past Lithium before pausing and turning to look at Lithium. "I don't suppose you know where there is some food?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]
