The smell of water was far too tempting for Angel to pass up. So she had left the warehouse where she had been surrounded by far too many dogs then she liked and headed for the water. Fortunately the rain had stopped by the time she left the warehouse. Shaking her wet body she got rid of the excess rain water and began padding through the outskirts of town. The sun soon got the wolf hybrid dry and within moments she was out of the outskirts. However as she got close to the water she smelt one strong scent. Pausing Angel realised this was someone's territory. With wolves she would have respected it and gone home. However since it was a dog why should she care? Besides she wanted to have some fun before she was either forced into a pack or found herself dead. After all the life of a wolf you never knew what would happen the next day. Every day was about making it count and that was what she would do.
Ignoring the territory marks she trotted onwards. Her heart leapt with every stride closer to the water. It was a lake or ocean. Wild. Like her. She began wagging her tail, her lips parted and tongue laid out between her front fangs as she panted a little. Then she saw it. The pier that led to the huge body of water. She stood there for a moment taking in the sight of it. This was real treasure to her. If Angel loved anything it was water, and it was probably the one thing that would bring down her sheilds for all to see. With huge enthusiasm she leapt into a run, bolting right down the pier and leapt into the air.
"BONZAI!" She yelled as she was mid-air before her body hit the water. Resurfacing she began paddling in the water, her tail wagging as she behaved just as she would when she was around her old pack. This was the real Angel - sweet, kind, playful, and friendly. She loved to have fun and it was really showing. The sun flooded over her now wet fur, making the sparkle in her eyes really light up her pretty face. This moment made all the heartache, suffering, and lack of food just go away. In this moment she was just herself, Angel, and honestly it felt pretty incredible to her. Nothing could compare to this moment. However as soon as the happiness had flooded through her entire body she smelt an almost familiar scent. A dog. One of the dogs that had been in the warehouse. Had she been followed? Why couldn't these dogs just leave her alone? She just wanted one moment of peace. Growling in annoyance she immediately paddled back to the bank before dragging her ass up it and onto land. Shaking her entire body she then lifted her head to search for the male dog. It didn't take her too long to find the golden coloured dog. Flicking her ears back she lowered her head growling darkly towards him. She thought she had made her position quite clear in the warehouse. No matter. She would make sure she put him in his place this time. No one came near her unless they wanted to die and she was going to make that absolutely crystal clear to him. "Leave me alone." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rex " Won't go without my fix tonight It's a little too rough Prom girl wipes her tears with silver lines And she can`t get enough " Oh, that warehouse had been a waste of time. Just two others, and Rex had wanted peace, he was sick of others being in his way. After demanding their names, he'd recieved silence, and so moved on. There was no cowardness in him, but he was simply bored. His pace was low and even as he joyed along, paws heavier than usual as he moved, muscles rippled lightly under the light gold coat.
He reached the pier, a great collection of broken down buildings, cracked and burned, sitting upon a great plank of wood, resting just above the surface of the frothy, grey ocean. It looked unsafe, but Rex didn't care, he was used to danger, and the closness of death. He placed his paws with great care as he reached the first few planks of wood, supporting the buildings, hearing the creaks in the old aged wood, yet it supported his heavy weight, and he continued with less concern, yet just as graceful-if a fighter could ever be called graceful.
His nose picked up a scent he recognised faintly, amung those of chip fat and damp, rotting wood. His ermald optics sparkled as he watched a female shape hurtle into the ocean, diving into the sea of swirling charcoal and murky blue. He chuckled once, a low, throaty sound as he saw her joy. The water was obviously the only thing she loved, suited her cold hearted creature.
He placed his rear upon the cool floor of the wood, forlimbs stayed tense to keep his torso upright as he watched her, amused. His emerald optics sparkled, but there was a terrible coldness to them, as if he were hiding a million secrets. The smirk continued to hold its own as he watched the femme's sudden change in mood, obviously she had smelt something-him.
He did not change his position as she headed toward him, his gaze now out to sea, seemingly ignoring her as he felt her presence. He infuriated any people, with his super self control and patience, even though he enjoyed such bloodlust and fighting. He just sat there, smirking out to the grey anger of the sea.
"Leave you alone?" he repeated as if confused. " But it's not me that has followed you, it is you that has followed me. If you had noticed before you'd dived into the water with such ecstacy, i have been siting here for some time."

What was it with male dogs and having their heads so far up their own asses they couldn't see sunlight? They were so up themselves it wasn't even funny. Angel already wanted to rip this pup apart. Just one. Then again one wrong dog murdered at her paws could bring an entire pack or worse - multiple packs. One dog she could deal with, perhaps two, and if she's lucky she could hold off three dogs but any more then that and it would spell her demise. If this dog was just a rogue though, and no one would miss him, then that would be fine for her to rip apart. Although she could be ruthless and vicious Angel was intelligent too if she put her mind to it. Of course she had blonde moments too but fortunately she hadn't had one yet. Except when she had met Lithium at that farm. She had looked at her ass when he mentioned she had a stick up it and of course he had meant it figuratively. Not that she did actually have a stick up her ass.
"I wouldn't follow you even if you paid me dog." She snarled, revealing her sharp fangs as she straightened out her spine so her body was lower in the classic attack formation. One of these days she knew she was going to get herself in trouble. However until that day came Angel was quite happy being who she was. Well, actually, she wasn't happy. She was unhappy, but for now this was who she was, and she was determined not to settle - especially with a dog. Even if she was half dog - which she was still in denial about - she was still half wolf, and had been raised wolf. The way she had been raised told her to settle for nothing but the best and strongest male Timber Wolf. She hadn't seen one wolf around here though. Then again it wasn't the best place to find a wolf anyway. They would be further into the mountains or the plains. She would have to travel outside of this place if she wanted to find another pack. For some reason though she seemed to stick around this place. Something about it just drew her here like a moth to the flame. "Since you are clearly too stupid and moronic to know how to leave, I shall take my leave instead. If you follow me dog I'll tear you limb from limb whether you have a pack or not." She growled, making sure her threat looked as intimidating as possible. Something told her however this dog wasn't going to let things be left like that. Even if he was a cute fluffy breed like a Golden Retriever it seemed inside he was like a Rottweiler and they rarely let things go. Especially when their dominance was in question. If she had spoken to a wolf like that he would have pinned her down with his fangs around her neck already demanding respect and putting her into her place. Angel however would never talk to a wolf like she was. Just dogs since currently she had a small distaste for them. Turning she began to walk away from him letting her muscles flex and ripple beneath her snow white pelt. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rex " Won't go without my fix tonight It's a little too rough Prom girl wipes her tears with silver lines And she can`t get enough " Rex cocked his crania to one side, peering closely at the other, watchign each play of emotion as she talked, to any other, it would appear that he was simply listening, but to him, he was analysing her every move. Seing where her weakest and strongest points would be, if it turned to a fight, watching her honesty, her emotions-was she truly annoyed, or was she faking, did she like or hate him, and did she mean what she said.
As she watched her move away, he paused, wondering what to do. He was amused by her, there was no true like, as such, no, Rex was not niave enough to think she liked him either. He wished to have more fun with her, her amotions and reactins were so humourous and he enjoyed to watch her, and so, he carefully followed, his walk carefree and slightly bored, as if to say, he did not care that his paws were taking the exact route of the femme, though he always kept a certain distance between them, never slowly, never speeding, he knew this would infuriate her. To be honest, Rex was not entirely such why he was doing this, she was nothing interesting, nothing special, but there was something that made him want to stay with her, something that told him she was worht more than he thought...

He was following her. Did she not just tell him she didn't want to be followed? Angel growled deeply however she kept walking. Maybe if she didn't go crazy he would get bored and leave her alone? Angel shook her head irritated by this dog's persistance. Why was he following her? Did he like her? No. That couldn't be it. Perhaps he just liked how she reacted to him? That sounded plausible but didn't help her situation. She was stuck, and she hated it. Perhaps if she just looked really scary and gave it one big go he'd back off with his tail between his legs? Nah, he just wanted that. She would just have to loose him. At that thought Angel leapt into a run. The wolfess bolted, speeding through the city as she zig zagged everywhere. She went round invisable corners, went underground through a secret hole, and even went inside homes through the basements to lose him. She had even found an old empty sewer pipe that she had slid through and ended up splashing into the water by the pier.
Back where she had started. That wasn't so bad but it appeared she had lost him. Angel hoped so. Yawning a little she paddled through the water letting it once again relax her. Her old mate would have loved this pier. He would have had so much fun diving off that pier into the water. It would have amused him for hours. Slowly walking out of the water she then climbed onto the pier exhaling a deep breath. Perhaps it was time to find a pack. It appeared she was half dog, and since wolves wouldn't take her now it seemed she had only one choice - find a dog pack. It disgusted her but there had to be one pack she could join which wouldn't annoy and disgust the hell out of her. There was that husky - Lithium. He had seemed to be the only one that didn't tear into her even if he had said she had a stick up her ass. She so didn't have a stick up her ass.
She growled at that thought and shook her head. She was going crazy. Joining a dog pack. No way. That would never happen. She was far better off being free. She could do anything. Absolutely anything. Yawning she slowly curled up on the pier letting her eyes close for a moment. A short nap would be good and then she would go find food. She was so hungry. Even her stomach was growling. There had to be food around here. She would sniff it out later and have a good meal.

Rex " Won't go without my fix tonight It's a little too rough Prom girl wipes her tears with silver lines And she can`t get enough " Rex chuckled darkly as he saw the femme bristle, she'd heard him then. But he continued on happily, his banner brushing his sides briefly, his walk long and swining. Why was he following her? He was sure she'd be asking herself that too. But he didn't even know himself. She was suddely so fasinating to him, preahps the way that she kept so much from him, or why she was so cruel. Sue, he was too, but he always had been, always would be. But, this femme was not meant to be that way. He'd seen her in the water, that was her true self, so why was she being like this? Like this was something to hide? Shaking his head at his interest,, he snorted in sudden surprise as he saw her run ahead, and he followed, keepign up fairely easily, his long limbs matched hers stride for stride, however, one moment she was there, then, she was gone.
Stopping short, he sighed, thinking for a second. He really didn't want to loose her, she was so...what was the word...fasinating. Thinking, he frowned, an idea suddenly coming to him, and he span on his haunches, racing back to the peir. Of course, she loved the water, surely she would go there if anywhere. And he was right. He waited until he saw her bound into the rushing water, before dipping in too, beside her, several paces to her right, watching the horrizon. Surely she would ntoice him, standing there like a ghost that haunted her....
..obviously not. She was gone, again, but this time, Rex knew where. He ran after her, taking his time to climb up to the peir, he watched her curl up, and thought of a plan. Carefully, so as not to wake her early, Rex picked up piles of paper and scraps of food, placing it around the form of the sleeping female in a casual dissaray, as if it were a bed. Then he howled loudly, the sound startling and annoyed, yet the light smirk that entranced her features showed much amusment. " Excuse me, but i think you'll find, your in my teritory..."

The howl woke her up with a start. First she thought perhaps it was a wolf. Maybe even her mate back from the dead... but then she saw the golden retriever again. Why was he still following her? Angel took a moment to compose herself letting a deep low growl escape her lips. Slowly she placed her bottom against the pier once more it was only then she smelt something else - food. Glancing down she then noticed the bed surrounding her. Was he... romancing her? Nah, he couldn't be. However... no one had ever made a bed for her apart from her mother. It was strange to her. Perhaps it was a bribe for her to stick around or not hurt him? Angel was absolutely confused and unsure what this bed was supposed to mean. She didn't know dog rituals or ettiquete. What if she ate the food? She was starving. Would she be accepting anything if she did eat the food?
"What is this bed for? Its not a worshipping type thing is it? 'Cos I am definately not a goddess." Angel spoke, clearly trying to make sense of everything. She rose up on all fours again, fluffing out her tail a bit as she backed up a step until she was stood right next to the edge of the pier. Lowering her head she sniffed at the food. It smelt like heaven to her. She nudged the food with her nose. She wanted to devour it all but if the food came with strings then she knew she couldn't touch it. She couldn't accept some sort of bribe in exchange for her, or something she would have to do. She would much rather starve if she was honest. Lifting her head she looked up at the golden retriever waiting for him to tell what the bed was for. She hoped it was just a freebie. She really wanted to eat it. There was fresh meat here and everything. Some were wrapped thickly around an animal bone. She loved to chew on the bones. That was always the fun part of a meal and she always enjoyed it. Rex " Won't go without my fix tonight It's a little too rough Prom girl wipes her tears with silver lines And she can`t get enough " Rex chuckled darkly, oh this femme lit up his day-in a strange sort of way. He would'n say he liked her exactly, no, Rex was a difficult stag to please, when it came to femmes, he didn't really care, but she meerly intrieged him. Cocking his crania to one side, his glistening emerald optics took in the odd female, who's name he still was not sure of. He watched each plaay of emotion cross her face, ainly confusion, and she hid his grin as he rested his behind on the cool planks like her, forelegs tense to keep the bodice upright.
" The bed, is my bed, i'll have you know. As to the Goddess part, who know's, prehaps you are, then again, maybe not... " Rex grinned now, allowing his alluring, velvet words drift lazily toward the female, however keeping most of his true meanings hidden. If he did indeed come to like her, he was not going to let her know, not that he was afraid he would be ripped to shreds, nor the rejection, it was the love he could come to feel, love was a feeling he hated, more than humans, for it tore lives apart, and if he felt love, that would be the end of his life as he knew it. No, he could never show any interest to this femme.
" You can have the food, i can find better. " Rex shrugged, then smiled again, a slow, sly smile and he raised one eybrow in an almost daring expression. " However....you have to tell me your name in exchange. If you don't, i'll carry on following you, and also eat the food infront of you. I have no doubt how hungry you are, it shows. " Rex grinned wider, his emeralds optics glistened with dark humour. Oh to play with this unknown was so amusing. Yes, this was definetly a bit of fun, but she wasn't to know, he was never going to say anything about it, no, she would never be told that she was just a peice of meat, a chew toy, to amuse the stag while he searched for a female much worthier of his liking.

"If its your bed then why did you put it around me?" Angel didn't quite understand that part. How did his bed get around her? In wolf society everyone sought out their own bed, and if the alpha female was pregnant she would still find her own bed and make her own nest for the pups. Males didn't fetch bedding or make a bed for their mate. Yet, this dog had just but his own bed around her as if it was going to protect her. Sure, one other dog had been unusual too. A german shepard, white in colour, had tried to protect her when he didn't even know her. However this was wierder then that. She was in his bed. If they were humans they would be a one night stand of an item by now. Either that or two friends being innocent. They weren't any of those things though. This dog had already called her his bitch and now the bed thing. It was beginning to make her wonder if perhaps he was getting attatched to her. If she had to scare him off then she would do so. It was as simple as that. She belonged to no one. She listened to his deal and then shrugged it off. She was hungry. Besides a name wasn't that big of a deal although she wasn't going to give her name. Now what would be the point or fun of that? Lowering her head she devoured every piece of food that was there within minutes. There was just the scrap paper left now. She almost felt sorry for the pup since he had no food left now. Ah well. She wasn't starving anymore and thats all that mattered. She couldn't help if the mutt was stupid enough to give her a free meal and think she'd give him a real name in exchange. Names were how you found people and she didn't want to be found. Therefore the reason why she refused to give a real name. Placing her bottom on the wooden planks she then looked up at him. Her upper body erect she gave him that uneasy i-don't-give-a-crap stare that would unnerve the best of them. "I told you my name earlier. Its bitch." [/blockquote][/blockquote]
