A set of paws moved easily up the dirt path that led to Baisen Ridge. Twin harks were pricked upright, ice blue eyes skimming around for any kind of movement. His ebony and ivory mixed fur blew softly in the gentle breeze. His tail curled over his back, swaying gently with his easy gait. The husky brute named Lithium loved coming out here. It was so serene and he could easily imagine throwing the mafia off this ravine and into the jagged cliffs below. As he approached, his nose picked up the scent of the brine coming off the ocean. His nostrils were slightly burned but nothing major. Lithium came here some times to think, but he also loved nature in her best.
His paws left perfect impressions behind on the tawny colored dirt pathway. Once he reached the ridge, it over looked a vast valley as far as the eye could see. He could see the sun rising in the horizon. The orange ball sending out rays of light that stretched over the tops of trees like gentle fingers. He felt a smile forming on his face as he started at this. This was a side of him that he would not let many see. He had a tough reputation to keep and dammit the hell he was going to keep it regardless. His pack was plentiful and he was happy. Of course he had to wait to find a lead because he wanted to make sure that he was making the right choice and the female was suited for leadership with him.
While he was a real bastard, Lithium had morals. Morals he rarely let anyone see. It was strange, but that was him. He loved making others squirm in pain...if they absolutely deserved it. Sometimes though, with puppies, he would be a bit more gentle with them and never hurt them. Anyone dared made fun of him would get their ass kicked without a second thought. Lithium felt an itch forming on his shoulder so he planted his rump down, and raised his hind leg, and began kicking at the spot. The loose fur around his neck jingled from the force. Once the itch stopped, he lowered his hind leg and sat there, staring off and wondered who would come and visit him this morning.

Small and faintly bright rays from the sun struck the ground. Their intensity weakened when they shot throught he cloud banks. The gravel path the lead to the basin was warm, slightly heated from the rays that had gotten to it. Small paws pressed along the path, the small pebbles and stones bearly even moving when the pressure had been applied. The petite and elegant figure of a vixen was making her way along the path. A light and misty blue set of eyes peered out ahead as she started to close in on the area. Her deep redhead coloring stood out aganst the nutrally colored background. The light, and pale color of the sand, and the the soft sea blue colors in the ocean. It was such of a peaceful place, the basin.
The distant sound of the ocean filled the auds of the vixen. What a calming sound it was to hear the waves rolling off of each other. A soothing and serene area is what this place was. A better place for those who want to think to go. But why would a tramp be wanting to go to a place to think? That was practically just totally opposite of how this gal was. She normally didn't care much to stop and think about what was going on in her life. But as most would have assumed, she wasn't here to think. She knew how much of a popular kind of a place this was, and decided to come here to see who she would run into. But really caused her curiosity, is that she had only just caught of whiff of a scent that she had grown to make sure she knew. It was Lithium's. Her Alpha.
The young redhead finally caught sight of the brute who was her leader. Lithium... She said to herself. She started to make an approach to him, walking to wards him just off to his side. Her serene blue eyes gazed at him. "Small world, huh?" She mused with a light giggle. She wasn't exactly expecting to run into him here, she couldn't deny that she was pleased that she did. Her curled tail flicked back and forth.

Muscles rippled underneath a dark ebony pelt as the female sprinted towards what seemed like forever away. She had no clue where she had just come from, or where she was going. She only remembered blood. Lots and lots of blood. Almost, but not quite, too much blood to bear. But she had. And it's all she remembered.
Her lungs felt like they were going to collapse, give in on themselves if she didn't stop to get a breather. But she pushed on, her pillars just about ready to collapse out from beneath her as she continued on with her breakneck speed. It wasn't hard to realize where she was heading. Up a treacherous slope by the looks of it. She wasn't stupid; her pace slowed down to a light trot. She took one look out over at the ocean she had accidentally come across before she headed up.
Small rocks and pebbles fell to the water below her as she cautiously made her way up the trail. Several times she slipped, but not enough to send her over the edge to plummet to her death. No, she was far to careful for that. And besides, it was easy enough to get up the trail. At least, until a strong gust of wind came. She took a guess that the tree that fell towards her had been dead for a while, and this gust of wind finally tore it from the Earth. Shards of roots, gravel, and branches came towards her, and she growled. It seems like today wasn't her day.
Closer and closer it came, until it was almost on top of her. In the nick of time she ducked, and the tree flew off the side, landing with a loud splash! soon after. She got away with some cuts and scrapes. And her life.
She finally made it to the top, but scowled as she saw two others there already. "Small world, huh?" The female spoke. Mercades growled, only loud enough for her to hear. Until she realized it wasn't directed at her. She stayed where she was, waiting to be acknowledged.

The smell of the ocean was as fresh as it got out here in te ope air. Rambo enjoyed comming to the cliffsides to just sit and love life. The raw beauty that came about these areas were untouched by the pollutants of the past Humans that once roamed, carelessly throwing their trash on the ground and off the edge of the cliffs, making it all look fake instead of wonderous. He trotted lightly toward the top, feeling like he'd just stepped back far in time to a more silent and serene world. Everything seemed perfect, except for the Infected blood that covered hus muzzle and part of the front of his body.
A few were near this point, oddly enough. He wasn't expecting him and luckally, they weren't expecting him. Only two small ones, probably the age of thirteen to fifteen in human years, nothing he couldn't handle. The dark green blood had dried by now to his fur, making it more of a pain to wash but he didn't have time for that now. No, he needed to clear his mind. By now his wounds from the giant Infected encounter with Rascala ad Abigale had healed good enough to be hardly noticeable and painless. Nonetheless, he still had that memory, any deeper and he could have been killed. Rambo shook his head. 'No, no need for that now.' he thought, clearing his mind, 'they're safe in the hotel's confines. Rascala can hold her own.'
Rambo hoped he was right, the amount that was chasing them was equivilent to an army. But they never saw where he went with the girls did they? No. 'Stop it...you need to relax!' And his mind was right, he needed to. Badly. The passed few weeks have been nothing but a pure fight for survival, he knew he had Ruthgo and Lithuim to turn to if he ever needed help. He was sure the old brute would have a couple of his pack guard the door entrance. No harm done, right?
As he turned around the ledge he heard a voice, female. Carefully, he sniffed the air and picked up two...no three dogs within range. One of them had to be Lithium, he'd memorized it from the Movie Theater but it was hard to tell from the ocean's brine. "Hello? Is anyone there? Lithium?" Odd that he might be here. Rambo was just thinking about talking to him.
Speak of the devil.

A large dog made his way through the undergrowth of the trees and overgrown grass. He padded softly and silently, almost impossible to hear, as if he were a ghost, or didn't exist at all. Yes, that's how it should be at least, as if he didn't exist. Fracture should be dead after all, he'd prefer to be dead than suffering in this hell hole. Those damned dogs left him there die, instead of finishing him off themselves, and what do you know, he survived. What rotten luck.
As Fracture came to the edge of the small forest, he saw a flat plain of grass and sand, and then what, it just stops. Stops clear, with no distant horizon. Padding over the the small amount of space in between him and the edge, all he found was a cliff, and below him, death. That's all that came to mind when Fracture glanced at the jagged rocks. No, not the beautiful view, the green and blues of the sea, the yellows and reds of the sun rise. No, not all, just suicide. Face it, there's nothing beautiful about life. Nothing at all. Nothing for Fracture at least. He has absolutely nothing to live for. No one to love, no pack to protect, no pups to care for, no friends to please, nothing. No place to live even, just a run down city filled with a bunch of filthy mutts he recently came upon.
Shaking his head, he let the thoughts drift away. Fracture wasn't brave enough to do it. He'll never be. He couldn't jump, he was too afraid. Besides, it'd be pitiful to die like that. A sorry excuse for a dog. He'd like to die with at least an ounce of dignity.
Turning his head, the pit noticed a group of other mongrels near by. "Perfect." He thought to himself. Just what he needed in a time like this. Fracture has always been anti social, and he's been trying to avoid others ever since his most recent encounter. As the pit bull gathered his courage and trotted ever so slowly toward the group, he began to think. "Well maybe they're not all the same." He trailed on. "Then again, who says they're not. What would I know." Fracture lowered his head and growled softly to himself. "No, no. Let's not be silly now. It's not like they'll attack me on command, and if they do, at least I know how to take care of myself." A brief smirk crossed his face before disappearing along with his train of thought.
Before he realized it, he was walking right into their little party. He stood there like a moron for a few moments, before pulling back his ears and lowering his head. Fracture continued on behind the small group, keeping a distance. They didn't seem aggressive, and yet, this was all so new to him. What to do, take his chance and approach, wait to be acknowledged, or perhaps just run away like the coward he is.

For some silly reason - yes she would not admit it was anything but silly - she couldn't get that husky out of her head. How dare he say she had a stick up her ass. Sure, a lot of other male dogs had gotten her all fired up - especially Axel - but he had just seemed to have left a mark. Still, she wouldn't go seeking him out. There was no point although the fact he knew her past... well, she didn't like that. He could easily use it against her in some way or another. It was breeding season again and that had brought Angel into season. This made times even tougher for the lone wolf hybrid so she had decided to go back to the outskirts. She had to find somewhere to sleep this out. After all she doubted she would find a decent enough mate in this place. Her prejudice against dogs was slowly fading - mostly because Angel had come to realise if she ever did want a pack it would have to be with dogs. Wolves wouldn't accept a hybrid.
So, Angel was going to try and judge the dogs for who they were and not the fact they were dogs. During the night Angel had left the confines of the city and headed towards the outskirts. Angel was making a point of staying away from the Mafia territory after she left Axel a little present - which had driven the dog crazy. Although that had been what she wanted he probably would have killed her if she hadn't have tried to keep the peace. Still, she had come out practically unscathed, and looked perfectly well upon looking at her. Within the hours of early dawn Angel had found a nice little thicket to sleep in on Baisen Ridge. She slept in late but something within her made her stirr. Sure enough, quite a few scents intruded her nostrils forcing the siberian husky timber wolf cross to come out of her hiding place. That was when she saw five dogs and only one she recognised unfortunately - Lithium.
Perfect. Not.
Angel growled quietly, clearly not impressed by the intrusion. If these five were a pack she could get killed with ease. Two did seem to know each other - Lithium and a female. The female was far too close physically to Lithium in Angel's opinion. Then there were three others, two males and a female. Rottweiler and pitbull. Two huge breeds that could if they work as a team give Angel a very hard time. Perhaps it would just be best to sneak off? The last thing she wanted was to get killed. If it was just Lithium she would give him a hard time. Maybe if it was just him and the female, but with five dogs... That was just sucide for any dog or wolf on its own. It was suicide even more so since Angel was in season and all three males would be able to smell it. Definately should sneak off. Angel thought as she trotted along the grass whilst the sun flooded over her ivory coat.

Charlie
Charlie shook her tired limbs, trying to wake her self up. The scent of passing dogs had awoken her from dreamless sleep, and she was curious to see why they were gathering. It's none of your business, she scolded herself. Leave them alone and go back to damn sleep. But like always, her curiosity got the better of her. She walked slowly toward the trail, paws walking from soft grass to pebbles, sniffing the air. From what she could tell, there were a few dogs. She couldn't tell exactly how many, but she hoped this wasn't a mafia gathering. She'd heard enough stories about them to know that it was best to avoid them.
As she drew closer to the end of the trail, she broke into a jog, her excitement controlling her body. She counted the dogs as they came into view. Six dogs. She could tell this was no mafia meeting. The group didn't have demonic presence about it. Two of the dogs seemed to know each other; old friends. The other two separated from the group seemed odd to her. What were they waiting for? A formal invitation? Well, she was not so courteous. She walked past the waiting two, and walked over to the group. She sat down, the end up her tail twitching, threatening to break into a full on wag. "Hi! I'm Charlie. Mind if I join the party?"

Zanna.x A multi-colored brown femme sat watching the groupe gather. A smile twitching at the ends of her lips. She spotted Lithium in the crowd, and grinned slyly. He was her leader, of course, and she would go over and make a very nice impression, as always. She placed out a white paw and withdrew, what if they didnt want her there? Did she even know anyone there? She scowled, why was she always so nervous? She growled softly and muttered something under her breath. Her instincts were to go over there and meet new people, but she was quite comfortable doing nothing and stay where she was. Her dark green eyes peering at them so edgingly. She growled again softer than before, and stood up stretching her multi-colored brown coat.
White and brown paws placed delicately made their way towards the crowd of dogs. Dark green eyes moving side to side, glancing at them all. She scowled and took a deep breath and contiued her short walk towards the group of dogs. When she reached them she was standing beside Fracture. A dog she had never met before. She flashed him her flirty smile, then turning her green eyes back towards Lithium she smiled respectfully. "Hello all." Zanna said glancing around at all 7 of them. The smile slowly died and she glanced back at Fracture.

Lithium turned and spied a familiar female sitting next to him. He smirked and nodded.
"Oh yes too small for my taste," he said teasingly and winked. He also picked up another female, Angel. He recognized her scent. And a few males. He turned his head the other way to acknowledge them. He spoke in a calm and clear voice to them.
"Do not be alarmed, brutes. I'm not going to attack you. I am Lithium ruler of the Dominix pack," he called to them. His acoustics picked up the sound of yet another female. His ice blue orbs moved onto the female and he smiled flirtishly.
"Of course you can Charlie," He spoke softly. He slowly pulled himself up onto all fours and turned to face the group , well they were behind him but now they were in front. He planted his rump back down on the ground and kept his forelegs in front of him. He spied Angel and smiled at her. He figured she probably would not be comfortable with the female next to him being so close. The thought almsot made him laugh aloud but he kept it inside until the right moment.
"Some new faces ...some old. What brings everyone up here?" he asked letting his eyes flick from one face to the next. He hoped the males would realize that he wasn't here to fight them or to cause them any bit of uncomfortableness. Lithium respected other males, as long as the respected him. It was generally a fair trade. He looked at Charlie. She was a nice looking female, but so were the other females that had gathered here. Angel he recognized from before, the half wolf. Very intriguing he thought musingly but blinked and turned to the other females that had come. The sun dipped behind a few clouds, briefly engulfing them in semi darkness. Behind him, the waves crashed against the jagged rocks, spraying mist upward. He could feel the cool salty water gently lick his back pelt. The brine scent of the ocean was now less bothersome than it had been before. Lithium waited for someone to speak.
He had wanted an interested day, and it looks like he was going to get it. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his back molars out the corner of his maw. He waited.

"Oh yes too small for my taste" The petite redhead gave a light giggle. She noted the wink, but her attention had been drawn away from the brute, the another scent passed by. It was a fea. Her ears tilted in ward and listened. Thats when the fea had come into sight. She was a Doberman, at least from her looks. And wow, it looked as if she had been sprinting for miles. Geez. Her growl had been easily heard, and took Vesta by surprise. Then, a different vocal reached her. "Hello? Is anyone there? Lithium?" Brute, that wasn't hard to tell. Well so much for her time for getting to know her Alpha. Things were starting to get crowded, but it didn't end there. More dogs were all showing up. Vesta focused on the rottweiler. He was very masculine, enough to have drawn her attention, but before she could have had enough time to study him, another voice reach her.
"Hi! I'm Charlie. Mind if I join the party?" Oh great, another dog. But before this one had come, a pit bull and wolf mix had already arrived. What a social event this was becoming. She gave a slight nod to everyone that was there. To many faces, it would be hard to remember everyone. Just when she thought nobody else would be arriving, another fea came. Oh. My. God. What a social event this was becoming. "Hello all." Vesta glanced at the fea, but then turned to see Lithium. Well, might as well make sure they knew who you are right? "I'm Vesta..." She said with a gentle nod. Things were getting a bit to...crowded.
"Some new faces ...some old. What brings everyone up here?" There was a slight flick to the tail. "Curiosity..." She spoke with a light giggle. "Wanted to see who came up here." Apparently, to many dogs. Well, to many for her to have gotten to know anyone every well. Her tail flicked back and forth, and her gaze passed over all of the face. Lets see, including herself, there where 5 vixens and 3 brutes. Her gaze passed along the brutes face, all rather cute. Her gaze turned back to wards Lithium.

&&. it seemed like everyone wanted to come to the ridge today. mercades most certainly wasn't the first here, yet she wasn't the last. a male and female had beaten her here first, and by the looks of it, the male must have been an alpha of some sort. either that, or he's still the alpha of who-knows-where. the female caught her attention as well. she was a red coloring, and she seemed to be flirting with the male.
&&. she inhaled, and two other scents caught up to her. both were male, no doubt. she had made her appearance to the two who arrived before her, and she planted her rump down, just close enough to the edge where it would seem like she was insane. Yet, it got her away from the quickly expanding group. the two males made their appearance one after the other, and a female followed. it seemed this was a mighty fine social gathering. no doubt there would be a few more coming. The voices of some rang out, and she lifted her lips into a silent snarl. she hated large groups. Two more females appeared, and the onslaught of new canines seemed to cease. for the moment.
&&. someone spoke, she wasn't sure who. but she nodded in respect anyway. it seemed that many of them knew each other, which left her and one or two others out in the dust. but unless he led the mafia pack, he was of no use to her. that was where she was heading. to join the mafia pack. they deserved her loyalty, not some scumbag pack. "mercades" she said gruffly, then growing silent. she didn't need to talk to this mongrels. but one stuck out to her. the white dog. she looked nothing of the sort, more wolf than anything. she could be of some use.

The ridge was crowded, but he felt fine and rather prefered the large company, maybe Rambo could get more backup. Even from his stance he could feel a mild spray from the ocean, which wet the dried blood on his fur causing it to drip slightly. He shook, then stepped toward Lithium. It hadn't been long since they last met, a week or so tops. He couldn't keep track of time, however...he was too worried about Rascala and Abigale to think about such trivial things. When he was just a few feet from Lithium he sat down, shaking his head of any freshly rehydrated blood and stared at him.
As the other arrived he nodded to them slightly, also a little nervous of their intentions. Why was everyone gathering here? Did Lithium call them? Rambo didn't recognize any from the Theater. Maybe Lithium's pack was bigger than Rambo had first suspected? Probably, he looked capable of taking care and leading a few more than what was present at the theater. "Good to see you Lithium How have you been?" He smirked and looked back around at everyone else, particularly the vixen next to him. "Vesta...pretty name..." Rambo gave a slight wink before turning back to Lithium.
"I need a little favor to ask of you, and I need to know as soon as possible. I'm in a dire situation." Rambo walked a foot closer to Lithium. "And you're the only one I can ask." He wondered how the girl and Rascala were doing, they were currently locked in the top floor of his hotel, hard to get to and with the heavy wooden door, probably reenforced with a couch or something after he left, it would be almost impossible for any Infected to get in. Plus he had seen her fight, she could take care of herself.
Or so he hoped....

The minutes ticked by and the others soon acknowledged him. Fracture took time to notice each dog, the husky, he seemed dominant, yet as he spoke, he made it clear he was not here to harm anyone. Fracture eased up a little and let out a small sigh of relief. The female next to the husky seemed to be acquaint with him, and maybe a little more by the looks of it. There was another female as well, she seemed irritated or frantic about something, one or the other, something was going on. The big rotty was what made Fracture a little more tense. He was large and didn't hold any hesitation as he approached the husky, they obviously knew each other. The blood dripping from his maw did not help Fracture's uneasiness.
Trying to avoid the large male, Fracture turned, but only to see yet another dog, she came right up into the crowd, obviously demanding attention. Fracture shook his head and looked to his other side, he wasn't sure how long she'd been there but another femme had caught his attention. This one was not like the others, and Fracture didn't like the impression he got from her. She was wolf-like, and as he acknowledged that, the pit took a few steps back and to the side.
Not paying attention to where he was going, the chocolate male took one too many steps and bumped into yet another dog. "Perfect, I just can't catch a break can I!" He thought as he lowered his head apologetically to the shepherd like female. She gave him an odd expression, one which he was not too familiar with. The femme smiled, in a way that seemed a little too friendly, and of course, Fracture saw it as coming on too strong toward him. The pit turned his head yet again, the others were speaking to one another and the husky had turned to face the rest of the dogs.
He picked up a few names, Lithium, the husky, Charlie, one of the females, Mercedes, another female that appeared to be on the other side of the crowd of dogs, and Vesta, the one who was originally with the husky when he had first arrived. The wolf dog, rotty, and the female next to Fracture were still nameless, as well as himself.
Fracture didn't intend to speak, he was more preoccupied with finding a stealthy way to escape. The group had gotten way to large, and made him uncomfortable, although they seemed to be friendly, it was just too much to bear for the shy pit. Frantically looking to all sides, he seemed to be surrounded. He never relaxed or made direct eye contact. His muscles became tense, and Frac appeared to be more paranoid than he should be.
Lowering his head and stepping backward, he tried to get a little more space. "I knew this was a bad idea. Dammit why can't I just mind my own business. I should have jumped when I got the chance." He glanced back at the previous ledge he was over looking before he advanced toward the others. "Well isn't this nice. They all seem to know one another, and where am I in this? Just a pitiful mongrel with his tail between his legs. Ugh, just man up already. Say something." He shook his head and looked away from the group, trying to focus on something other than the current situation that had poor Fracture puzzled.

I had my ups and downs trials and tribulations, I overcome it day by day, Feeling good and almost powerful.

Angel paused a moment an almost... angry look in her eyes as Lithium flirted with the female Charlie. Perhaps it was just because she was in season? Yeah. She didn't like the brute. That would be insane. Then he smiled at her. A smile formed on her own lips, without her say so, and before she could take it back she had smiled back. Oh god. This isn't good. Angel thought as she looked away from him rolling her eyes at herself mentally. If she had a crush on that mutt - which she was so denying until further notice - then this was going to get awfully messy. It seemed he had a lot females swooning all over him. What would make her so special? Nothing probably in his eyes. After all she did have a stick up her ass. A stick up her ass... God, that sounded good right now. Angel shook her head. She hated breeding season. Almost anything would turn a female on in this state.
Could that be the reason why she 'liked' Lithium? Deep down Angel knew that wasn't possible since there had been something there before she came into season. This most definately sucked. Well, she was leaving anyway. Walking away from the group she paused slightly as she noticed something. The pitbull had backed away when he saw her and then bumped into another dog. That... was hilarious! She smirked in amusement before shaking her head. Must be a pup. Then something else caught her eye. Angel looked at the doberman looking dog. A female. There was something about her though that cried 'wolf'. A wolf hybrid? There was another like her? Angel couldn't help but smile at that. There was someone like her! She wasn't alone. Doing a u-turn she headed over to the doberman cross deciding she was the only dog around here that was worth her time.
"Peppy little crowd isn't it? Sickening." Angel spoke as she sat beside Mercadez. She was just in time to learn the wolf's name. Perfect. Being on the edge of the group was fine for her. Its not as if she was going to make an effort to talk to the others. It wasn't their fault per say but Angel just wasn't ready yet to go full on dog. She was still working on her prejudice against dogs and getting rid of it. Names were being said now it seems. The rottweiler seemed to take a liking to Vesta. The pitbull seemed to like the dog he had bumped into. Others admiring 'the great one' Lithium. As if he was so great. Angel highly doubted it. Slowly and subtly she peeked over at Lithium trying her best not to cause any suspicion. The last thing she needed was other females starting on her for Lithium's affections. It wasn't as if he really saw her anyway. So no one had any reason to be jealous. Then again... if she saw some dogs jealous it would be very amusing. "I'm Angel." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Charlie Charlie smiled and nodded once at Lithium as he welcomed her. She smiled back politely, and orbs scanned the rest of the crowd. Remembering what name went to what face would be difficult; there were too many canines. Glancing at Lithium as he spoke once more, she thought about his question. "Some new faces ...some old. What brings everyone up here?" What had brought her here? Curiosity had brought the femme named Vesta here. She nodded and agreed with her. "Curiosity." Charlie couldn't help but notice all the winks and smiles being exchanged, mainly from the males. She rolled her eyes ever-so-slightly. Yay. That time of year again... It seemed as if every fea was going gaga over Lithium.
Charlie glanced at the brute who had come and asked Lithium of a favor. What could he possibly want? It seemed urgent; was someone in trouble. She thought about volunteering her help, but restrained from speaking; the question was not directed at her, and it would be rude to answer it. She watched a fea leave the group, then turn around again and sit next to Mercedes. Was the gathering that unsettling for some dogs? She didn't feel nervous or anxious, so she would stay and be social. "Peppy crowd... sickening..." was what her auds had picked up from Angel. You know, she didn't understand some dogs. Did it kill them to be polite? Social? It's not like you had to be a social butterfly to sit around and watch mongrels talk, chipping in with your own input every once in while.
Charlie backed up a little, so she could lay down with out her nose being in someone's rump. Golden mitts extended in front of her, she kept her head up, as to stay a part of the conversation, tail swishing back and forth slowly behind her in excitement.
