Zeviah poked her head into the crisped barn before carefully stepping in. She sniffed a few times to make sure there were no humans or dogs here, but the charcoal smell in the air made it hard for her too smell accurately. She hopped quickly across the floor, careful not to get her mitts any dirtier than normal. She didn't like being dirty. She believed it made her seem less intimidating. How did you get all dirty? Oh, I was rolling around in some dirt for the hell of it. Yeah... real intimidating. She rolled her eyes, and took a deep breathe, trying not to get worked up about something. She came here to relax and rest, and that was what she was going to do.
Finally finding a small mound of clean hay, she stepped onto it, circled around and laid down, neatly tucking her tail against her body. Doing one last sweep of the barn with her orbs, she rested her head, and slowly drifted to sleep.
~~~
Zeviah awoke with a start, her auds perked up, heart racing. It was just a dream, she reassured herself before picking her body up. Just as quickly and carefully as she came in, she bound out, happily greeting the faded sunlight, welcoming the feeling of grass on her paws.
Everything seemed quite around the farm. Or as least that was how is seemed to be. The quiet made most feel..insecure, but for this particular dog, it was actually quite relazed. Just on the edge of the barn, the small figure of a Beagle was making its way along the dirt path. But this wasn't just any Beagle. This was, Pip. A small gentleman with a distinct British accent. But that was all because he was impored out here tp Mois Aries, but when he got here, the packaging that he had been in had been tipped. That was when him and a poodle he had been traveling with made their escape.
Pip was makinf his way to wards the barn. It was indeed harder to sense someone with the lingering coal in the air. But, one scent did stick out. A femme's, He tottered to wards the scent, and saw a much larger dog than himself. There was quite a diffrence here. "Good day, m'lady." He said lightly dipping his head. Gosh, what a suck up he was. But he wasn't exactly trying to make a impression on the lady, just trying to get out there and make friends.
Black auds perked up, her nares flaring, becoming alert to the presence of another dog. Glancing around, she saw no one, only a small brown, rat-looking animal. Disgusting. She eyed it cautiously, and wondered why a small, pathetic Beagle like that would so boldly approach something as large as her. After all, there difference in size was quite noticeable. Slowly and carefully, she walked forward, trying not to scare him. She was surprised to hear that he had a bit of an accent. "Good day, m'lady." It sounded somewhat charming, like a "proper gentleman" would sound, and although most would dive in and be polite, she was not like most. In fact, she was a bit skeptical. She had learned that you should never judge a book by its cover; a saying no one really ever payed attention to. Cocking her head to the left, as if studying him, she spoke. "Hello. I am Zeviah." Slowly tipping her head slowly to the right, she added with a sneer in her voice, "And you are?"
She wondered if he was part of a pack. Of course, being a member of the Mafia (and being her natural, sometimes-hateful, self), she hated all mongrels, but didn't bring up the pack in which she resided with. She inhaled a few times, to try and see if she could catch the scent of another canine, but the smell of the barn was too over powering. She ran a few plans through her head, just in case. There was no clear outcome in these plans, but it always helped to have a plan for each situation. Though she didn't have much thinking power, and was easily outsmarted, she could rely on her muscle. But a Siberian Husky against a Beagle? Well, the only challenge there was trying to figure out how hard to step on him. He was just so tiny, it'd be like a human stepping on an annoying spider. So, she wouldn't exactly need her muscle in this situation. Keep your plans to your self until you need a reason for them! She scolded herself. Sighing, she spoke again. I see you've found my hide out. Orbs narrowed, trying to look intimidating, but her tired eyes kind of made the look seem impatient.
