THE WEATHER had surrendered itself finally to the rain as the water falling from the sky merged with the sun beating down upon the ground below. The city was abandoned by this recent down pour, but then it had always been like this really. After all, it was the humans who had made the world like this. It was this dogs turn to take over, and it wasn't just their job to eliminate the humans, it was their job to look after the whole world now - to rule it. They just had to make everyone else see that this was the right course. Well, he had to make them see.
IT WAS his job after all, he was king of them all. Or at least most of them. For now he had but a small kingdom, but all he needed was time for it to grow larger and larger. He was king of the Ruthgo's after all, and surely their thoughts and wishes matched him. After all, it was the view of all in his pack. They were a group of dogs, ready to do all that was needed to get what they wished for. That was why this Great Dane was trotting through the rain, an imposing figure to say the least. Not only was his appearance imposing but his title was too. Everyone knew who he was and feared him. That was the great thing about being who he was. Autumn chuckled to himself as the rain poured down upon him, soaking his coat trying to get the cold to grasp his body. But that wasn't going to work after all, nothing would stop a king when he is on a mission. He knew that heading back to his territory was the best thing for the moment, after all, he had a pack to deal with, a meeting to call and business to deal with. With the latest recruits to the Ruthgo's it was Autumn's time to let everybody meet each other, to make sure everyone knew their ranks and then go out and find some more body's to fill these lands.
GETTING TO the hospital was an easy task today, Autumn knew his lands very well after all. The Great Dane sped over the lands, his thoughts drifting slightly, wondering if his beta and duke had been keeping everything in order. It was necessary to call a pack meeting to check that everybody was doing their job properly of course, Autumn didn't want lazy creatures in his pack, he had high ambition and his plan was going to succeed. He just had to find those willing to go along with it. Soon the hospital loomed in the sky, the main power base (if that's what you care to call it) of the Ruthgo alliance. It's slippery and eerie corridors may not have been the ideal home but they were good enough. Autumn still had the pier and the church after all, it was just easiest to gather the pack in the main ward of the hospital, after all it was a large enough room so that the pack could fit there, and the way his voice echoed around the room certainly helped project his voice. If you looked at it this way round, you could see that the hospital was in fact the ideal place to hold a pack meeting.
WITH IN a short time period Autumn burst through the large doors of the Psychiatric Hospital, into the dry and out of the pouring rain outside. Immediately, Autumn stopped and shook his coat out, small water droplets flying in any direction possible, leaving a wet puddle by the large doors - not that anyone cared. After this leader had shaken himself dry he trotted onward, navigating his way easily through the maze of corridors in the hospital. The lack of light outside made the hospital dark and gloomy, with a spooky atmosphere. Just how Autumn liked it. It wasn't like he would get scared in the eeriness of this place, but trespassers could freak out a bit. And that wasn't a bad thing. The white and chocolate brown dog made his way toward the heart of the hospital, where he knew the main ward lay. But first, he needed to call his pack. Autumn knew exactly how to get to the roof, after all he held the knowledge of the alpha in his brain. A large vent lay in one of the walls, and even though it was a bit of a tight squeeze for a dog like himself, but soon, following the dark tunnel Autumn pushed another vent grate and climbed onto the roof, the rain hitting him once more.
"ALL RUTHGO'S are required to enter the heart of the hospital for a pack meeting. if you do not attend your position in the pack will be axed!" Autumn shouted the words into the cold air, being pummeled by rain drops as he did so, before sliding back into the vent and making his way back down into the hospital corridors. Being out of the rain was nice, even though the cold water was refreshing, but it wasn't exactly nice squeezing into the vents. It was at times like these Autumn wished he wasn't of such size. Soon though he was out into the corridors, the cold draft of the hospital surrounding him. It was easy enough to trot off and venture through the doors entering the heart of the hospital - the main ward. Cabinets and hospital beds surrounded him. It was dull here, no color apart from cream, a horrid brown and black. That wasn't something Autumn could do anything about though, dogs didn't exactly redecorate. The Dane bounded toward a bed near the back of the room and leaped upon it effortlessly. It was nice being a bit higher up, not that he didn't have a height advantage when he was on the ground of course. Autumn sat upon the springy bed, they were actually more comfortable than they looked. Now this leader just had to sit and wait, hoping that his pack members weren't cowards - afraid to face their king.

Kismet "Can't read my, can't read my, No he can't read it, My Poker face."
Audits pricked to the sound of the call, and her crania lifted, wind brushed her thick patched coat as she moved, each paw placed without hesitation in the direction of the call. Her movement was soft, flowing, like that a gentle brook makes over smoothed pebbles, but this calminng appearance was nothing that showed the charactor inside. Her soul was warped with fire, a huge blazing ball of molten heat, that threatened to lash out at times, licking through her veins and dancing excitedly at thoughts of death, destruction, despair, and ruling. This was the soul that contolled this femme. But, although her spirit was pure hatred, bitterness and evil, there was a devilish love that tickled her heart, a love for another destructive canine-Graffitti. With his name in her mind, she strolled with an emotion that could only be descibed as bitter happiness toward her leader.
She would answer his call anytime, anywhere, for he was what had given her her freedom. Of course, it were Graffitti that had offered it first, but Autumn had given her the true escape, escape from the Leeks, a peace-loving alliance that her parents had forced her into, wraping her in chains to make her comply to that terrible alliance. But now she were free, free to cause death, horror and terror among those who she hated. Oh, how this leader deserved her alligence, and so, she'd predged it, truly and utterly.
Paws sped into a fast run, beating the ground in quick rythmic strokes, like the beating of a drum as she pounded across the lands, a meer blur as she raced. Her mind was blank, there was nothing to think about for now, and so, she thought of nothing. The looming figure of the hospital slowed her pace, and she stopped short at the sight of the magnificent great dane balanced upon the roof. There was no love for that canine, none, but she felt a light respect for him, and a bit of gratitude-of course. Kismet approached the hosipatal with no hesitancy, pushing open the dusty glass door with her nose, striding into the open area and blinking in the light. The rain had soaked her coat,a dns he shook herself now, scattering glistening jewls of rain onto the floor and looking about. She followed the leaders scent, stopping before him and bowing her crania with respect.
" Greetings, Autumn. "

Graffiti! It's true, we're all a little insane. But it's so clear, Now that I'm unchained. the streets were practically empty as rain pelted down from above. Strangely enough the rays of the sun were still trying to shed a little light on the abandoned city, but it was a futile attempt. The only life in the street right now was a lithe body moving through the rain, ebony fur slick against his frame. With his head down and hiding the only ivory on his body that clashed with the black, he looked more like a shadow. As much as he hated rain, even the heavy downpour couldn't dampen his mood. It was true, monsters can fall in love. He was still the dark dog that he had always been, he still had no remorse for canines outside his pack, and even none for some of the hounds that irritated the hell out of him inside the pack, but that didn't change the way he felt about a certain beautiful female. A sudden voice rose above the noise of the rain, his ears perking as he recognized the sound. It was none other than his leader, Autumn. Instantly, he began charging through the street, his paws slapping against the sodden road. He was in no rush to see Autumn, but his position in the ruthgo meant a lot to him. It wasn't that he didn't like the great dane, it was more of a jealous feeling. Sure, Autumn did a good job at running the ruthgo, he couldn't deny that, but that didn't mean he wanted the position for himself. Dodging around one street corner to the next, he was finally at the hospital. In a matter of seconds he was down the street, shouldering the doors open into the dark halls. He shook out his drenched fur, his coat hanging limp against him, but it also revealed the toned muscles that were usually hidden by his double coat. His claws tapped out a tune as he made his way down the hallway, taking the right turn at the right time. He saw the door that led him into the heart of the hospital, and pushed through it without hesitation. He didn't pause in his confident stride to observe the room. He'd been here enough times and got used to the bland colours and rows of beds. He made his way to the back of the room, where he could see his leader perched ontop of a bed. He spotted Kismet as he neared, and though his heart leapt with joy he expression remained cold and calculating. His cerulean hued eyes drifted to Autumn, voicing a few words of greeting." Afternoon, Autumn." He didn't greet Kismet with words, but sat down beside her, his black fur brushing lightly against hers. It was an open show of affection, but he didn't care. If anyone wanted to comment, he'd wouldn't hesitate to break a leg. Or two. [/blockquote]

I was sprawled out in the back seat of a red mercedes benz, my large head in my large paws. My ears were relaxed, my eyes were closed, and I played with the idea that I might actually look rather harmless in my resting state. I grinned slowly at the thought; the sky will fall on the day Thirteen looks harmless. Sighing deeply, I let sleep settle on my shoulders. It didn't take me entirely, of course; I didn't survive for seven years by falling dead asleep. Because then I'd just be dead. No, I'm far too clever for that; I half-slept, falling into a zone of tranquil non-existence, where my body and mind could re-charge and sup up for my next long spell of consciousness. My ears, lax as they were, were still picking up the faint sounds of the area surrounding me; if danger approached, I'd know soon enough to greet it with my fangs. I got only a few moments of rest though, before my lids slid smoothly up, and the perfect ebony of my orbs was exposed to the world.
Was that a howl, I heard? It was, it was; the summoning howl of the mighty Autumn, Great and Powerful. I snickered to myself at the thought; leader he was, but I was still the obviously superior dog. Wolf-like in build and fox-like in wit, it wouldn't be long before I was in charge. Content with that thought, I rose from the stained, lumpy upholstery and stretched out my front legs, groaning with relief. Nothing beats a good, muscle-popping stretch right after a nap. I lept out the open window, landing forepaws and than hindpaws on the cold, wet pavement. I hadn't cared to notice before, but the overcast sky was loosing a soft rain onto the earth. I took a moment to enjoy the gentle patter of the drops on the rusting car, and I tilted my head back, eyes closed, maw open, to truly revel in what was certainly my favorite kind of weather.
Lowering my head rather reluctantly, I licked my maw and glowered towards the hospital, which was close enough to be in sight, but far enough away that I would need to run to get there in decent time. I wouldn't run of course; I liked this weather far too much, and Autumn still had to gain my respect. Of course, he was closer than most, considering how he had bested me and gotten the alpha position, while I had been forced to settle for second best. Still; that didn't mean he deserved it. I began to trot lightly towards the hospital, my gait brisk but leisurely; I kept a look out for other pack members, wondering how many would obey their leader. When I was a mere block away, my pits fell on the frame of a smaller, ebony dog disappearing into the building; Graffiti, I assumed, the third in command. I snickered coldly; third in command was a joke; as if there would ever be a need.
When I reached the doors, he was gone, but I didn't need him to find the meeting place. I let my steps become slower, a little arrogant, even, and I held my head up; I wasn't going to grovel at the Dane's feet. When I entered the room, I saw only three dogs; Autumn, Graffiti, and a female whose name escaped me; I dismissed her as pointless. In this light, my black eyes probably looked like empty sockets, and my limp was more obvious. It wasn't a bad limp, but it was unmistakable, and unpleasantly permanent, as were the scars on my front leg. Bear trap, the humans call it. I sat down near the little group, and ignore Graffiti an his girlfriend; I focused my attention on my rival and leader.
"Lovely day, no?"

Kismet "Can't read my, can't read my, No he can't read it, My Poker face."
Kismet turned as she saw the familiar figure of Graffitti, but she held back the smile, the show of affection that would give her away. She waited until he had sat beside her, before butting him gently with her nose, and giving him the smallest of alluring smiles. She was vividly aware of his fur brushing hers, and she lent lightly against his strong form.
Optics turned as she spotted the sight of another canine, one she did not know. She were, she thought, the newest member to the pack, and so, she had only ever seen Graffitti and Autumn. Her optics hardened at the sight of this other, travelling over the form of this other. She did not think of him as anything but a being, and so, looked back to her love with more interest. No need to make him jelous in any way, she loved him totally. Her attention now snapped to Autumn, she wondered what the meeting was about, she were sure that they already had their ranks, but who knew? Maybe there was an imposing threat. Kismet glanced about her again, just looking, it was odd really, this pack was small, with only four-nclouding the leader-surely there were more, wasn't there? She looked at her love, raising an eybrow in question, but saying nothing.

This is ten percent luck, Twenty percent skill, Fifteen percent concentrated power of will, Five percent pleasure, Fifty percent pain, And a hundred percent reason to remember the name.
SILENT PAWS stepped forward. Dark eyes inspected the multi-story building. A keen nose scented the dogs within. Strong ears heard the howl that sounded. The dog continued, never breaking a stride. She ignored the pouring rain.
DARK THOUGHTS clouded the the dog's mind. Thoughts of misery, death, pain, starvation, abandonment, freezing. Everything was dark in this animal's life. That's why she was here. A pack would be safer.
HER MIND was brought back to the present as she entered the building. She followed the sound and smells to the dogs. Of course she could be killed for tresspassing, but the risk of not taking that risk was too dangerous to take.
THE BITCH had always lived on her own, but she knew enough about the pack democracy. She knew that she couldn't display too much weakness, but she couldn't display too much dominance, either. It was a matter of technique.
HER EYES closed momentarily as she approached the room where the pack was. She took a deep breath then padded into the room. She looked at the dogs, her ears flicking back and forth.
SHE APPROACHED the brute who was so obviously the leader. It was his energy and his stance that gave it away. She bowed her head slightly in respect. "My call is Charity," she spoke, her voice rasping at first after not having spoken for so long.
HER HEART seemed not to beat as she waited for a response. If she was rejected, it was quite possible that she would be killed. But she had knowlage that the bigger the pack, the stronger the pack. Would they refuse her, and, if they did, could they afford to do so? The moment seemed to be going in slow motion.
