With his tail tucked and head to the ground, Fracture came into view. He trotted slowly from around the corner of a large building, his feet dragging and never once looking up to the large world before him. Twilight took it's toll on the city and night was taking reign once more. The beautiful blues and purples of the sky, dotted with small stars just bright enough to barely see almost gave the town some color, but it wasn't enough to catch Fracture's attention.
Soon it'd be black and the street lights would come on, only making the area more dull and depressing. The large pit bull heaved a heavy sigh and came to a stop at the edge of a corner. The roads were deserted, with only a few empty cars every few blocks. Letting his rump hit the cold pavement, Frac looked to the right of the intersection where the cross walk would guide him across the street, and down a different direction. Turning his head to the left this time, the sidewalk continued down the street, also a different direction. Neither choice appealed to him. However, his third option was to continue forward, across the intersection and down the sidewalk.
When you really think about it, moving forward doesn't sound so bad. A little boost could never hurt, especially someone in his position. Let's face it, Fracture is the lowest of the lows. No where to go, no one to turn to, nothing to do. Just a whole lot of wasted time used up on a worthless dog.
Fracture was in need of a huge change, this just wasn't working out. Just moping around all day, feeling sorry for himself. It was time he made something of himself. Just one step, could be the beginning of something new.

Jay down what some claaed route 49 well called that by those dog who thought they knew it all it annoyed him so much. He knew soon he should be finding somewhere to lay down and take a rest but right know he had to much energy to do that. He saw a pit bull in the distance he wonder of taking a different route to avoid this dog but then there was the chance of him getting lost he really didnt know this area that well so he continued on. It had just turn to night which for him was his favorite time of the day it made everything more mysterious Also scary but you needed to be scaried several time in your life. His paw were starting to ache he steps slowed and were smaller. He was completely lost in his thought when he realized how close he was to the pitt bull. He quickly thought of what he might decide and just decided on something easy like hello or how are you he didnt feel like getting caught up in to much of a conversation. When he reached the pitt bull it just reminded him of how small of a dog he was he looked up into the sad almost pittyful eyes of the dog and said " hello how are you this fine night."

Fracture watched the sky as the warm purples slowly faded into a deep blue. Night was taking hold and the male let out a small sigh. He let his golden eyes drift around, studying the empty streets. Where, oh where, to go.
The soothing silence soon ended when the clicking of small nails hit the pavement. Looking to his right, the chocolate pit bull saw the other dog walking his way. Taking in the scent, Fracture pulled back his ears, and lowered his head. This other dog was a male, and Fracture had never really got along with them.
As the pincher got closer, he never really seemed to grow in size. Lifting his head higher, Fracture saw that this dog was strangely small, much smaller than he. Still his stomach turned and he shifted his weight in uneasiness. With the relief, seeing that this dog was not a threat to Fracture, he tried to gain enough courage to hopefully say something.
A simple hello should be easy enough, but a whole conversation was a little much for this anti social dog. As he approached, Frac nodded in acknowledgment to the pincher. His voice was small, like him, but it had no sign of aggressiveness. Not yet at least.
"Why would you possibly care?" His eyes narrowed, not aggressively, but in suspicion. His voice was a bit harsh, but it was true, why would someone give a shit. In all truths, Fracture has never known anyone that really, truly, cared.
Shaking his head, realizing what he had just said to the innocent male. "It's not his fault..." "I'm sorry... forgive me. That was rude of me." He said politely, and looked at him again. "Um, I'm Fracture.. and you are...?" He was strangely very brave, for him at least. He didn't hesitate once as he spoke. Usually the pit bull would shy away from other dogs, trying not to draw attention to himself. Although his heart was beating rapidly, Fracture was surprisingly lifting in spirit. But how long would it last...

ooc: Sorry grammar not my stronghold
IC: Jay was at first taken aback at his tone. Well jay really didn't care but he was just bored. He wondered why this dog was so scared of a small dog like himself. As the street light turned on jay could better see fracture. He seemed even larger in the light but he had an interesting chocolate color just like his dead sister had he could remember that much of her from when he was just a pup.He quickly pushed that thought out of his mind. He then looked up at a dog that did kind of scare him this dog could if he wanted rip he from limb to limb. He looked into fracture face and said " The names jay." It was simply and to the point nothing crazy or mean just a simply. He sat down and waited for the reply. As he looked down the street all the rest of the light turned on it almost unison. The sky was completely dark and it was his favorite time of the day. He wasn't in his favorite area though he preferred the park or the airport over this but it wasn't bad. He already knew everyone n those areas and know he caught to meet this interesting pitt bull.
